I saw another forum discussing the lyrics of Diva's Song...

Well, I found them:

oh, and for those of you who were wondering, they don't mean anything at all. they just wrote random stuff made to sound like latin.

oh cool. i've been wondering what those words meant when i first saw them. smile but i found a post somewhere in yahoo that the songs had meaning, though she didn't know the exact one. thanks for the info. biggrin

from what i've heard, the words don't really mean anything. they are completely made up to sound latin.

To be honest, I actually kind of like the fact that the words don't really mean anything. It would be interesting if they did, just to see what the producers/creators wrote, but still. If you think about it, Diva was locked away in a tower for the entire first portion of her life--any learning would have been minimal, and so if she was going to sing, she probably would have just made up her own words. I doubt that her caretakers' first thoughts were to teach her latin. XD And it wouldn't have been Saya--that was how Saya found her, was by hearing the song.
Interesting stuff to think about.
