Alright so maybe it wasn't better... But Uh. Brett Ratner didn't direct Wolverine. Also, despite what they did with the character, seeing Gambit presented was what won it over for me. Those are really the only reasons I've got. Don't get me wrong, I think they did horrible, horrible things with all the characters in Wolverine and was very dissapointed. Another point would be I guess, is that X3, even though it had continuity issues, was very self contained whereas with Wolverine, they went into the past and completely changed things. That's not okay by me. I'm really torn. From the perspective of a purist, I don't like any of them, really. But from the perspective of someone who has no idea anything about X-men I can see them being entertain in the least.
