Dominik really had to do something about that smoking. Next time he would say something. Or rather do something. He felt actions spoke louder then words did. So, he couldn't just let the other male feel he could walk all over him. He had best set limits now then later.

To say that Dominik wasn't surprised by he other males outburst, would have been a lie. He simply raised a brow as he found the male staring at him. It seemed that he was upset. Though he noted to distinct expression on his features. There really was something wrong with this boy.

"You should try going to sleep." He couldn't help but think Private Rainer seemed a bit...agitated. He didn't know if he felt comfortable enough to try and get any sleep. With him smoking and going on like this. Though he wasn't ranting, he felt he might as well be.

Adrian snorted at the other suggestions,"I'm not tired." He insisted as he continued to polish the Mauser, and it seemed to be a very special gun. It had his initials carved into the handle of it,"AR".
When he was finished polishing it, it he wiped it down with a cleaner rag and placed it back into it's holster. He set the holster aside before standing up and moving over to his desk and sitting down once more.
He peered down into the already opened book, a void expression crossed his face, eyes showing no emotion.
He took a long drag from his cigarette and exhaled,"Don't you have anything better to do than to bother me Private Hardwich?" He asked, feeling as though the other was watching him, and waiting for something, anything at all.
Needless to say, he didn't like it, he wished the other would just find something to occupy himself instead of seeking Adrian as his only source for entertainment, if one could call it that.

Dominik was really tired of being bossed around by this kid. What was up with him, suddenly polishing the Mauser he had. It didn't look like an ordinary one though. Was that why, but it didn't explain, why he wasn't wrestling. As long as they shared a room he would. As well as keep from smoking. hey hadn't shared a room for a day, and it was starting to really irk him.

"As long as you..." He began, approaching Private Rainer, where he saw him come to sit. "Keep doing things like this..." He actually snatched the cigarette from him. "I cannot." And he put the cigarette out, wheever Private Raine had placed the ones he had finished with.

"Every time you do that, I will have to do the same." He referred to what just happened. He would put out those cigarettes he smirked all the time. Or so far, he had done it at least one time, every time he saw him. And though he spoke about it, he chose to ignore him. Another thing that bothered him.

Adrian suddenly looked up at Dominik as the other man snatched the cigarette straight from his lips and put it out. A wild fury suddenly built up in Adrian's bright blue eyes and he stood up quickly from his chair, knocking it over in the momentum of it all.
He stepped up to Dominik and grabbed his shirt, shoving him back until they both crashed into a wall,"Don't you touch my cigarettes.." He warned, his voice sounding much like the calm before a raging storm.

He took in a few deep breaths and exhaled,"You don't want to see me when I haven't had a cigarette." He said, giving Dominik one last shove before stepping back, he turned and moved over to the window and opened it,"If you don't like the smoke, then open a window." He insisted before slipping another cigarette from his pocket and lighting it, taking a long drag and exhaling it near the window, where a soft breeze carried the cloud of smoke away.
Adrian had been smoking since he was young, and he wasn't about to quit, or change himself, because his roommate said so.

Well, that was...unexpected? Was it? The reaction Dominik received from Adrian. The way he was shoved. The way they crashed into a wall together. Just because he took one of his cigarettes? What would he do if he took one again. He wondered. But he knew it wasn't a smart choice to try and take it again. He didn't need to start a fight.

Amazing what a bit of action could do. Adrian was the one who had come to a compromise. Though, he would have preferred he didn't smoke period. Perhaps he would work on that. Or maybe it was a hopeless cause. He would see eventually. He wasn't planning on going anywhere.

Now what should he do? Go to bed. He was going to. Should he say something to Adrian. He wasn't planning to apologize so he did see him having anything to say. He merely smirked a bit, just a bit, then his expression was passive, as he walked back over to the beds. Going to his, and taking a seat there.

"You're not going to bed now." As if nothing had happened. As if he hadn't basically been told to mind his own business. It seemed he really didn't care.

Adrian furrowed his brows slightly and sat down at his desk once more, continuing to read and smoking, the smoke wafting out the window as he did. He would continued to read and smoke until very late, his eyes glued to the pages as he turned them over.
He only finished reading when he fell asleep at his desk, arms crossed and face buried into them, the cardinal in his birdcage chirping softly a morning song from within it's cage as Adrian slept.

When morning came, the horns blew, signaling the soldiers to wake and begin their morning activities. But Adrian didn't stir at all, he continued to sleep peacefully at his desk, though shivering just slightly from the cold air that came in through the open window, sending shivers through him as it graced his pale skin.

Dominik didn't bother to go on with saying anything else to Adrian. He instead, went about resting. He needed to sleep. He had to get up tomorrow. He didn't know about Adrian. He wasn't thinking to bother with him anymore then he had. Although he was still bothered by the smoking in general. It was obvious, this wouldn't be a problem solved within one night.

The next morning seemed to come just like that. Before he knew it, having a dreamless sleep, Dominik was awake. And he noted Adrian was still asleep. He gave an inaudible sigh. Grabbing a blanket from the other males bed, and putting it over him. It was only then did he went ahead and left the room. Heading out to do the morning activities. He wasn't even going to bother to wake or do anything with Adrian.

Adrian stirred just slightly as the blanket was placed around his shoulders, though he slept even after Dominik had left, staying up very late into the early morning studying.

He woke an hour or two after Dominik had left, standing up and throwing on his officer's uniform jacket and making his way out of the room. He went to the mess hall for a short while to get himself a mug of straight black coffee, rarely ever eating at all.
It seemed Adrian's diet was completely constructed of coffee.

After he'd gone through a usual day's events, he'd returned to his bedroom, waiting for the soldiers to finish their showers in the shower room before taking his own shower. Preferring to be alone. He didn't like most people to see the ragged scars all over his back.
So while he waited, he was sitting at his desk and he'd been studying, but found himself staring out the window and thinking, his mind wandering far off somewhere else.
He sighed and crossed his arms, burying his face into them and found himself thinking about Dominik.
He didn't really think his roommate was such a bad person, really, he just didn't understand Adrian's boundaries, and that Adrian was an avid smoker, that little to nothing would make him quit smoking.
Unless he found some other way to ease his mounting stress.

Dominik eventually returned to his room, after what seemed like another long day. Well, him doing what he usually did. After going out in the morning. Eventually getting something to eat, and taking a shower. Not necessarily in that order. But his day was not an exciting one. It was just nice, to walk into his room, and catch sight of his room mate.

It would have been a lie to say he hadn't thought about Adrian earlier. He thought about him, and what occurred the other day. And he tried to consider how he could possibly get the other to quit smoking. Out of all the habits his roommate could have, it just had to be that. He had to have been unlucky. That's what he told himself. Walking into his room, seeing the other Private at the desk.

"And how was your day?" He asked this question, heading over to his bed. Where he stopped, and turned to face Adrian.
