Upon returning from the Obstacle Course and his daily shower, Elias gladly returned to his room, throwing his exhausted body onto the bed. Springs creaked loudly as they caught the weight. Elias lay silently, half dressed and with the door wide open. He never really cared much for other soldiers opinions or even making friends for that matter. He was merely here to escape his home life, even if he was good at this. He gladly coasted through his studies and his exercises, never pushing himself to be the best. Leaning over, fingers barely caught a cigarette that lay just outside of the pack, bringing it to his lips and lighting it. He took a slow and long drag from the cigarette before exhaling from the corner of his mouth. He hadn't smoked in a few days and the smooth smoke felt so good after such a stressful day.
Green eyes watched diligently as soldiers slowly filed down to their rooms. He didn't know many of them, not that he cared to anyways. This was war. Or at least it would be. Elias was naive in thinking that he was untouchable. That would undoubtedly be his down fall if he were to ever go in to battle.
(Wasn't sure if they were gonna share a room or what. So I left it kind of open ended. :3)
