Animus looked at the water whip connected to his leg and laughed. He changed into a bear and just laid there, laughing at the human's futile attempts to be strong enough to trip a bear.

Vepo smiled as the bear laid down. He then used his water powers to give him the strength to fling the bear through the air towards one of the closest buildings. After flinging the bear, Vepo made the whip flow back into his flask, and watched what the shapeshifter would do.

Animus changed into a flying squirrel and glided in circles until he lost some momentum. He then changed in a jagaur and landed on the ground. "I'm going to end this now! I've groiwn tired of our game, and Those people are probably just standing there, watching our partner's fight. They won't see me coming." Animus rushed headfirst at full speed towards Vepo.

Vepo laughed at the sight of a large bear changing into a flying squirrel. "You won't get to those people. Good always triumphs over evil. Even though you have a reason to be mad, revenge will never work out to better anything," Vepo tried to reason with Animus, but he knew it wouldn't work. When Animus rushed at him again, Vepo gathered a large water ball and fired it full force at Animus.

Animus jumped into the air, and changed into a gannet just before he hit the water ball. He smashed through it and landed as a rhino. He smashed right into Vepo's chest. After smashing into Vepo, Animus changed into a cheetah and took off around the corner. The people weren't outside, but he could see one sticking his head out so he could tell when it was safe, but the two were still going at it. Animus jumped into the air, changed into a fly and flew up and landed on Terron's shoulder, and changed into an elephant.

After the rhino hit him, Vepo had flew a short distance, then smashed into a wall. It took him a moment to regain his bearings, but he stood up after what felt like an eternity of agonizing pain. He looked around for Animus, but remembered what Animus had said. He used a geyser to get up to the second floor of the news station and went back in the broken windows. He rushed to the stairs and saw everyone just standing there at the entrance, one man with his head out the door. "Everyone, stay away from the door," VEpo said as he walked by them, "I'll let you know when it's safe. Also, make sure nobody turns off any lights." Vepo walked out the front door in time to see an elephant appear out of nowhere on Terron's shoulders.

A large SUV, empty of people, was flying through the air towards the elephant; flying behind it was Static. He had been rescuing panicked people, and had nearly emptied the building of the still-alive civilians.

He had also been watching for the Reaper, and telling the local police force what to do. The cops were all armed with shotguns loaded with taser cartridges, since electricity seemed to be all that affected Reaper.

Animus saw the SUV and laughed a little. He turned into a leopard and, using Terron as a springboard, leapt to safety on a nearby building. Animus laughed as he said, "That's a weird power isn't it? The ability to drive cars through the air without being in one. I haven't ever seen a human do that one. I seen a couple that can do it while being in the car, but you know, out of the car is just amazing." He changed into a peregine falcon and flew high into the air making sure to keep himself in the direction of the sun from Terron.

Seeing Animus fly into the air for a surprise attack, Vepo yelled to Terron, "Watch out above you! The shapeshifter went up!" He then coated one of the desks from inside with water and chunked it at Frostbite, "I've got the popsicle for a moment!"

Lincat had continued to watch the fight for awhile, but it was quickly boring him. Even when the other two interns came back and it suddenly became a fourway fight, that didn't do much to bring his interest back into the battle.
So, Lincat wandered back into the building while the fighting raged on outside, and masacred even more humans. Dispite static's efforts to save the humans, Lincat killed much more than the hero could save. And it didn't take to long for the building to be rid of living humans, though scattered with bodies.
After looking for a few minutes for more humans, and deciding there must be none left, Lincat went on search for Static, figuring this was a good time to attack the hero. So, after having gone invisible, Lincat searched for the Hero, figuring he would by now by outside trying to help his interns in the fight. And it didn't take to long to find him, afterall, a flying SUV was hard to miss. He took no care in the SUV and went straight for the hero. He smirked to himself as he approached unnoticed towards the Hero from behind. 'Some things are to easy.' He thought as he stopped directly behind the hero. He didn't want to just kill it right off, though he didn't think about the fact that killing it right off might save him a great deal of annoyance. He always liked to play with his prey.
So, Lincat put his hand into the back of Statics head before unleashing enough of his green energy to paralyze the hero for a few minutes.

Terron about yelled in fear when the elephant appeared above him. Luckely, Static was there to save him, even though he now had a couple claw marks across the back of his suit.

The SUV had flown up and over Terron's head and was now making it's way back to earth. Terron watched as the bird flew into the air. "No you don't." He grabbed ahold of the plunging SUV, then used his power like a slingshot, flinging the vehicle directly into Animus' path.

The second Static was tazed, he involuntarily released a burst of electricity, which shot out of his body in all directions.

The burst of energy done, he dropped like a rock, face-first to the ground, paralyzed.

Animus easily dodged the SUV the second time as well. When he dodged around it, he started to dive straight towards Terron's head, getting up to two-hundred miles per hour. At the last moment, Animus swerved around Terron, changed into a monkey,still going the same speed, and latched onto Terron's ankle, taking hime with him, hurtling into the ground, going the speed of an average Nascar race.

The moment Umbron realized what Animus was trying to do, he formed a shadowy appirition of a leg, and stuck it out.

-Reaper-

When Animus went straight through the leg he though he had grabbed, he looked up to see three of them, then only two. It was only the briefest of instances, barely visible to even him who had went right through it. He turned to make a decision on how to get out of it, when he smashed into a desk that was flying through the air out of no where, then smashed into a tree, his tale pierced through a branch. He looked at it. He couldn't feel anything because of the adrenaline of the dive, but that was starting to fade. He turned into a gecko, dropped the tail, and climbed down from the tree. He turned into a jagaur, still with no tail. He roared in anger, and turned to say something to Reaper, only to find him not there.... or anywhere. "Frost! He left! It's time to go!" He shouted to Frostbite, taking off around the corner, only to lose his balance and slide across the ground. He stood back up, shaking out the dust, made sure frostbite was following, morphed into a poofless bunny, and took off towards base.

Frostbite moved to the side, allowing the desk to fly by. As it passed him he froze the water. He grabbed ahold of it, spun around and threw it twice as hard at Vepo. The water manipulating boy seemed to have a look of horror on his face. However, he wasn't looking at the desk. He was looking at his own body, and for a good reason. He was disappearing.... fading into nothing. Before the desk made contact Vepo had been completely consumed. The frozen piece of furniture shattered into the ground where the boy would have been standing. Frostbite was very confused. He placed his mask on as he heard Animus call out to him. Placing his hatchet on his back he soared after Animus.

Terron was suprised to see Animus miss, but was no longer concintrating on the animal. His face was twisted in torment as he could do nothing but watch as his new friend just vanished before his eyes. He looked over to see Static paralyzed on the ground. Without words, he soared to the ground, picking up his mentor and flying as fast as possible to HQ.

*First Martin... now Vepo... am I cursed?*
