Kaze hadn't moved when the Quincy girl drew her bow. He hadn't even flinched when she shot near him. He only smiled as he pulled his dark jewel from his neck. "Really now is that any way to treat your tourists? Be careful Quincy, or next time I might think you're threatening me." He shook his head and shrugged his shoulders as if to jest the act more. "Ombre and I have no intention on killing you. I can't spoil him now."

Mika let out a incredulous snort. "Yes, I'm sure that you're far to full of innocent souls to eat." she retorted, drawing another arrow. "Give me a good reason why I shouldn't kill you right here and now."

Kaze smiled and dropped the black stone into his shadow. "Well, I guess on reason would be that you simply can't little Quincy. Apparaissez Avant Moi Ombre." As he finished the call Kaze quickly moved off to the side of the Quincy with speed rivaling a flash step. Ombre's hand came flying out of the shadow of the tree she had shot at.

"Tch. If you think that's gonna be enough to take me out then you have another thing coming" Mika yelled firing an arrow at the shadowy arm. The arrow flew directly into the arm and exploded in a white flash. Mika then drew her bow and spun around, releasing it at the Bount.

And so I will not shy away from what lies ahead...

Kaze smiled as Ombre pulled him into his shadow, avoiding the arrow. [darkblue]'You're well trained for someone so young.' His voice seemed to come from everywhere at once. Kaze slowly began to emerge from the shadow of a building. "It's too bad really, maybe on a day I felt like fighting, would this be fun." Ombre then too emerged from the shadow and stood beside his master, the shadowy figure standing slightly taller than him, his wings serving only to create more shade. "Run along little girl, when you've lived as long as I you'll learn that the world is overpopulated by 'innocence'. When what it really needs, are those capable of defending themselves."

Kaze smiled as the Quincy tried to understand him. She was young, and it would be beyond her to know the cruelties of the world. "I am no judge child, you misunderstand. The world needs more of those who can defend themselves true, but I am a Bount, do you know what that is? I need strong souls to feed on. The souls of those who have killed, and stole, and murdered, and raped. I am ridding the world of the pathetic souls that feed on the weak." His smile slimed down to a smirk as Ombre moved in front of him, his long arms ready at his sides.

"One as young as you cannot understand us, so don't even try. You kill animals for sustenance with guns and traps that they cannot defend themselves against. The next time you want fish, try going out into the ocean and catching it with your bare hands." Ombre had brought up one of his claws as he finished his small speech.

"Calm down Ombre, such thoughts might confuse the child." His smirk still on his face.

Mika hid her growing displeasure at being repeatedly referred to as a child and held her bow steady. "Are you saying that I have no idea what evil can lie within the hearts of men?" she asked icily, her blue gaze cold. "If so you take me for a fool. I have seen what humanity is capable of. It still doesn't make it right for you to take their souls. Who gave you the right to be judge and jury?"

Kaze couldn't help but grin. What gave him the right? So naive. "Time. Time has given me the right. History has given me it's gift. Without beings like me to keep balance history would be doomed to repeat. Man would fight wars for the same reasons every century and claim that they are different. The Endless Waltz of War, Peace, and Revolution would continue forever!" His hands were now clenched into fists, as Ombre's claws were. "Lower your bow child. You are not a threat to the dance, and I am still full."

Kaze smiled as he watched the arrow come flying towards him, though Ombre had managed to pull him into his darkness before it hit him, though, it did leave a burn on Ombre before he too could return to the shadows. "I was unaware I was supposed to convince you of anything Quincy." His voice seemed to come from every where at once. "And I grow rather tired of this game. You will see soon enough of what I speek" With that his voice faded, but Kaze stayed in the darkness watching the Quincy. True he could not hurt her while in this dimension, but neither could her arrows.
