EVENT PROPOSAL

Since our vice captains seem to have all deserted us, I am taking over. Yep, it's a coup! twisted

Here is my idea for an event:

It seems to me that most events cater to those who already play zomg and love it. What we need is NEW players! So I want to do something that will bring in new people.

This will be a contest, with prizes for the new players and also the guild members who assist them. I am thinking of having it run for two weeks. The new players will be teamed with a zspot member who will assist them to go through all the VG quests.

Once they have finished VG, they will be entered to win a prize, some of which will be large prizes.

Prizes will also be given to the zspot member who brings in the most new players, and the ones who mentor the most (you don't necessarily have to mentor the ones who you bring in).

This is just the overview, I will go into detail later.

What I want to know right now is, how many would be interested in participating in such an event?

Also, since I am relatively new to the guild (but apparently the only active crew) and this will use most of zspots resources, I want to get an okay from at least one of the vice captains. I'll be contacting Sensual Soul to inquire about this, but I am hopeful she will give a green light.

So what do you think? Questions? Comments?

EDIT: Sen gave me the go-ahead on this. I am thinking sometime in March. It would be most helpful if I saw a little interest from some of you...

Helping people is the most entertaining thing I do on zOMG! these days
