All my friends have quit... Basically WoW is a dead game now and 1/100th of what it was during PreBC, chh, I mean sure the game was unbalanced with the classes back PreBC but 40 man raids!!! HOLY SCHNITZEL! And it was still hard as hell...
Back PreBC epics were so hard to get that even though I had played it 2 years I only had epic bracers from a ZG quest that you had to collect some heads or something... We constantly kept wiping at the bat boss, but it seems that everything else was easy lol... ^.^ Rogue were having trouble getting their kick off before the heal... Chh!
So basically, Runescape is suddenly funner -_- (wow)

Anything but. /chuckle

I stopped playing a month after Cata's released. I'm glad I don't have to pay an extra $30 for the next two months just so I can play with the new rehashed content (ZG/ZA) and whatever bullcrap that they implemented.

Sooner or later, TERA Online will be released. confused

Question... Is Blizzard trying to ruin WoW for some reason? Like, basically I say that because the fun of WoW went for OMFG THIS GAME IS SO ADDICTING!!!! To, WoW sucks ballz and no one plays it anymore...
Wow was sooo awesome during PreBC and everyone agreed or else no one would play, and the simple fact that everyone that got into WoW were playing 20 hour days and people had to force themselves to quit by breaking the discs and deleting their accounts just reinforces that fact... Now, people are quitting left and right easily and no one likes talking about the game

About half the people that say WoW sucks are either are trolls or people who have actually played this game back to the release date (like me.) Can we say that Blizzard has ruined WoW? They haven't ruined it, they butchered it into something so ridiculously easy that it drives real players out of their minds.

Content in the game is important because it keeps people busy, that includes dailies and on-going events (like the Argent Tour.) People want to moan and groan about the others who complain about how Blizzard is being lazy but they don't understand that rehashing old game material from years ago was not intended to be new content like they want to announce no matter how stupid the excuses from said people are. The more they continue to rush crappy content to WoW will be the cancer of the population.

I've played Blizzard since the beginning, As matter of fact I had Stone Guard rank on my hunter tell Blizzard erased it Q.Q..
PreBC I was more like into World PvP then BGs, but I also loved running Instances, which thanks to my love for World PvP I never even made it to MC tell the end of BC :'(
I still love World PvP only that now I can't kill people whom are lvl ?? to me like I used to be able to... The game was soooo sick when skill ruled over everything, and the fact that some of the classes were unbalanced... But I mean it's not like they were to the point that a total noob can get on one and pwn a group... Not like now anyways when level and gear matters over all Q.Q

As far as I am aware, the original PvP titles weren't erased unless something recently changed.

I'm haven't been a huge PvPer since I transferred servers some time ago because there wasn't.... any unless someone less lazy wanted to for shits and giggles.

I hear such tolking all the time, mostly from people who play too much hardly — raiding 5/7, hardmods, achievments, 2400+ etc.
Maybe they need just a little relax^^?

The only thing keeping me in WoW is rl friends and family. I'd halt progression. What would they do without my amazing heals/dps crying

According to other veterans, whenever the subject of PreBC difficulty comes up, PreBC wasn't hard. It was tedious. Everything just took buttloads and buttloads of time, but anyone could do it.

The hard part of raids back then, from what I've heard from guildies who've been around for years longer than I have, was getting 40 people to co-operate and co-ordinate.

Leveling has been sped up - because who wants to spend six months leveling hard just to get to the level cap and told, "Sorry, you can't play with us, your gear isn't good enough," in a way much ruder than that? (Often just, "stfu noob u suck") Nobody wants that, and if it were still like that, we'd see waaaay fewer people in WoW than we do now.

But, I have a suspicion that the people who complain about the casual gamers ruining WoW don't feel special anymore, ever since the game went mainstream. What they fail to realize is that those casual gamers deserve the game just as much and just as little as anyone else. Blizzard's trying to encompass their whole fanbase, with normal and heroic modes for most things. Current heroic raids are probably tough enough to keep the better raiders occupied.

More casual gamers like myself - though I don't raid anymore - should be content with normal mode raids. The heroic versions are there for the people with much much better skill, who deserve a challenge worthy of their skill, just as much as the casuals deserve something to do in-game.

The better-skilled and more-interested raiders have their own special gear, with a special color and everything, so everyone can drool over it. I know I do. When I see a person in full heroic gear with an awesome staff or whatever, just sitting there in Stormwind, I'm not thinking, "elitist p***k," I'm thinking, "Damn... That guy's good." I might not say anything, but I damn sure am thinking it.

I hate to say it, but I left it for Vindictus, Skyrim and maplestory :/ at least those games have some sort of difficulty. It's ridiculous how easy it is to level now, along with the trees and the mounts. level twenty? seriously? Is the aspect of the cheetah completely useless now? I was content with level 40 being the first mount you get.

They made the leveling process easy so that people could get to the end game content. It's all about end-game now, so why waste lots of time on the leveling unless it's your thing?

End game isn't hard either, but it's what people want out of it. People go through it fast and complain there isn't enough, and then others say it's too hard. It's easier to appeal to the demographic of people who want the game to be easier (it rakes in more money).

I quit for a while and am finding a new joy in rerolling and starting over, making new friends, and generally not trying to get too attached to any one thing about the game. It has helped quell the boredom a lot.

I love wow still regardless of the disappointing changes made.
I'm always gonna be a fangirl for the game over other mmos.

BUT definitely I too run into a bored point after big patches have been out for over a month..
I'd say I enjoy expansions and New content patches the most and they are the only excitement I have left for Wow.

I also can't get back into raiding because of many reasons of it just not being very fun and the fact it makes me feel unhappy... Because of the many hours of wiping and dealing with people I would like to have on my ignore list...Not that they talk to me but I hate listening to some people talk...I also dislike biased things...

Pvp also was never my thing.
