Mists of Pandaria!

So Blizzard Entertainment went and copyrighted the name "Mists of Pandaria" And a video game software. So most likely going to be the new wow expansion. razz

Indeed. They are adding the Pandarens and bringing in the Naga. The new class they are discussing is supposed to be the Monk, a support class.

It's not official. It's based on the speculation that...

"BC brought new races. WotLK brought a new class. Cata brought new races. Therefore, MoP will bring a new class."

Faulty logic, considering the same logic said that,

"BC brought new races. WotLK will therefore bring new races."

And a whole bunch of speculation over what new races would be available.

Then they mindscrewed everyone by bringing on a new class.

We'll find out more at Blizzcon this year - probably.

As for the monk class part specifically... It's based entirely on the name of the game, "Mists of Pandaria." Because it had the word, "Pandaria," in it, people just assumed that Pandaren would be a huge part of it. That led to speculation on both a new race - Pandaren - and whether or not it would be Alliance or Horde - some people even speculated neutral. Because of the above logic, some people thought, "Pattern means MoP will bring new class. Pandaren part of name of expansion. Therefore, monk class."

I know, it'd be awesome. I'm just trying to say not to get your hopes up too high.

Yea I'm tryin not to get my hopes up, like I don't know how they would be anything but nuetral...I still don't think the deathknights make a ton of sense. Alliance hate forsaken cos they're former scourge, but let in deathknights cos Tirion says "Hey don't worry they're ok" /confused

Well for all we know it may not have anything to do with an expansion... they did mention they would work on a newer Warcraft game. Though they said its going to be after Starcraft and Diablo 3 are done. But in the bigger picture we have 4.3 comming out in the near future. And they release that you will have a raid on deathwing. So there wrapping up cata right quick. Meaning that it will probably be the expansion. And personally i think its great. Being a panda fighting with pandas. Its all one could hope for. Im tired of constant similar content again and again. So lets just be pumped that they have something new.

News Flash: They are indeed adding the new Mist of Pandara expansion.
New Class: Monk (Tank/Dps/Healer Specs)
New Race: Pandaren (Neutral race; both Male and Female (Model TBA))

I saw the promo on youtube a couple days ago, and this may be worth reinstalling WoW on my computer and reactivating my subscription, if only long enough to play a panda for a while.

I don't remember where I first saw it, but there was a well thought out plan of how the expansions would go that appeared before BC and was fairly accurate up through WotLK at the least, I don't remember how it did for Cata. Anyone know what I'm talking/have it? I'm interested to see if it's still maintaining some accuracy. I thought for sure the next expansion according to it was supposed to be for the emerald dream.

They kind of did 'say' that they wanted level 90 to be the Emerald dream

anyone know when the solid date is for when it comes out? i'm really likeing the hole island that is a turtle idea i think it tops the hole idea of the maelstrom!
