First Contest!

This is the first contest of GFGG, and as such we wanted to make it so that everyone will get a prize. All you have to do is pick a side, and vote every week- that simple. The grand prize is 10k, multiple people have an opertunity to win this; but ONLY if you vote. There is a secondary prize, both prize's worth will increase or decrease depending on how much you vote. Here's how the contest works..

RULES:

There is a story starter below you will read, once you read it decide whether she is guilty or innocent then PM XSAMX0 which one you think she is. There are only 2 choices; please put your choice in the subject bar of the PM as it will make things go faster.

After bets have been placed, the contest will continue. There are 2 writers, one has chosen innocent and the other has chosen guilty. Each writer will write a paragraph (or lead as we call them) to continue the story, you will vote on which lead will be used. If writer one's lead is used that will be a point for writer one, the writer with the most points at the end will choose her fate and everyone who betted on said fate will win the grand prize. There is No way to tell which writer wrote which paragraph, you're betting on the fate not the writer.

The lead that is chosen will continue the story, all votes must be placed through SAM0 (XSAMX0), the less you vote the less prize you get at the end, do not vote on this thread it is ONLY for the story.


4 IMPORTANT THINGS:
•Voting is every 4 days, 5th day new leads will be posted. vote through SAM0, if your vote is not on time it will not be counted.
•Do NOT post in this thread! you'll be disquallified if you do. This thread is only for lead posts.
• If you have question, need to vote, anything really..PM SAM0 or Gargo0or! All things guild related, do it through SAM0.
•If you have not made a bet by the publishing of the 1st set of leads, you will not be participating! the first set should be posted wed 14th or thurs 15th.

This is the starter; read it, decied innocent or guilty, place bet.

Catori sat on the edge of her bed, in her one-bedroom crapy little apartment. In the corner nearest to the window sat a computer, a laptop to be precise- the highlight of the whole room. It was, unlike everything else there, brand new and a very good model. This was because she needed it for her work, and she took her work everywhere she went. Her work was designing webpages/scripting programs/whatever, the pay was alright but the clients weren't enough to move to a better apartment. *just until I get my degree* Catori thought as she turned on the television to a live news report from a helicopter. *oh good, something exiting* An announcer spoke about a Breech in national security and of top secret files being hacked as the helicopter focused on a downwards angle of a grey brick building. *hmm, that’s odd. I could swear that place looks familiar* a S.W.A.T. team burst through the doors all GIjoe style as a speaker blared "Catori Johnson, come out with your hands up. We have you surrounded." *HOLE-LEE-SH1T!*
