Help- Tardis purse

I'm making a purse of the Tardis blaugh . My only problem is that I want it a scaled down version of the actual thing.
These are the actual measurements of the Tardis:

TARDIS DIMENSIONS:
Total height 120 inches ( deduct 10 inches if light is not to be fitted )
Light 10 inches
Base width 56 inches square approx—2 inches high
Side Panel width 53 inches
Side panel height 90 inches
Roof 56 inches square—height 18 inches

If I made a 1 inches fabric =12 inches wood, then the purse would be about a foot long. Would that be to long as a purse?

Depends on the look you're going for, but yeah, I'd say that's too long. Could you cut that length in half?
