In this life time there are many different regions with many different Pokemon to capture and train to compete in contests in order to become stronger and gain a close bond with our Pokemon. In this world there are shadows where dark and evil things and people crawl out and try to do horrible things to this world. Several different times in different eras there has been darkness that has risen out of the shadows to conquer and destroy, but with every darkness that rises there is always a figure of light to shine upon the evil and disperse it until it is no more.

Now, in this era, in this time in the worlds history. The earth has broken. Life on this planet is starting to dwindle. Only the power of the strongest Pokemon can help save the life on earth. Unfortunatly some of the most powerful of the strongest Pokemon have been captured by the darkness and only some remain, others try to capture their power. The legendary Pokemon are more weak then they have ever been due to the earth being in such of bad shape as it is. If all the Legendary Pokemon are to be Captured then the earth's future will be no more and all life on the planet will see-st to exist.

In the death and despair in this dying world a new Pokemon Trainer has been born in the ashes. This Pokemon Trainers are no ordinary trainers in which they catch and use Pokemon to compete in contests and to prove who is better. These Special Pokemon Trainers are called "Pokemon Vinculum" (ving-kyuh-luhm) meaning Pokemon Soul Bond. Pokemon Soul Bonds get a special bond with ONLY ONE POKEMON. When bonded with this Pokemon, the trainers themselves obtain a special power that that is their Pokemon's unique power/technique. When the Pokemon Vinculum's obtain this power and are able to control it with enough skill and understandment then their Bonded Pokemon can evolve/enhanced that special technique to become even more powerful. There are only a small handful of these Vinculum's known in existence, but there could be more just waiting to come out of hiding and use their power to help save the Legendary Pokemon from he darkness.

Just like in olden time, there are still Gyms with Gym leaders and badges to collect. In the ruins of old great cities are new towns trying to sprout and become great. In order to become stronger and train your Pokemon to become great, challenging and defeating these Gym Leaders will help you bond closer with your Pokemon and follow the destiny that is bestowed upon you.
