[BATT] Metaplot Round 1 - Gavin

Additional notes: Possessed by a Fire elemented Malice. Base attack of 3d6.

Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.

To battle, first make a post rolling the die stating only the action that you are doing. Once the total has been calculated, go edit the post with an actual short paragraph of action.

Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.

Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

Gavin didn't really have any fancy reasons for fighting the possessed humans. It was mostly because his friends and family were and he wasn't about to be left out of the fun. He didn't expect to be any sort of big hero, in fact with his powers the way they were, he'd be a bit surprised if he made it past the first challenge to be honest. Ah well he'd do his best and maybe some attractive stranger could drag his body from the battlefield and nurse him back to health.

The first possessed human he spotted had a pair of red glowing eyes, and as soon as he spotted him he got a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. As the human raised their hand to send a fire based attack in his direction he let metal spread over his arms and he crossed them up over his face to try to shield himself a bit from the attack. His judgement of where the attack was going to was pretty good so he was able to stave off most of the damage. Pulling his arms down he tried to shift over to a better defensive position before the human could fire off another attack.

He wasted no time in sending off another few fireballs. Unlike the others he wasn't here for games, he wanted to get stuff done fast. He had no time to play with stupid Metas.

Gavin also wasn't really looking to drag this out if he didn't have to so after taking the hit he summoned up some vines out of the ground. He manipulated them into whipping the man he was facing and hoped to get some damage in that way.

He grunted in pain, but pushed through it in favor of firing off a few fireballs at Gavin.

More fireballs headed his way and this time Gavin chose to phase out, letting the fireballs go through where he'd just been standing.

He tried not to let that deter him... instead he opened his mouth and exhaled a stream of fire.

Gavin decided it was time to let his charm do some of the work for him, so he activated that and gave the man his most seductive smolder on top of it. "Why don't you light yourself on fire instead?" He asked smoothly. He figured the pain would snap them out of it but maybe do some damage too.

What was he even doing and why was he suddenly having an odd feeling? It highly confused him that his flames even began to extinguish. Really, what the ever living hell was happening? Why was he moving closer? Why the hell was he finding this man attractive? Why was his heart flutter? It somehow made him pissed that he laughed a small fireball from his mouth but for some reason he regretted it and it showed on his face. Why? God this kid was confusing.

Gavin summoned the vines once again after taking the hit from the fireballs and had them wrap around his attackers legs to smash him into the ground.

The hit to the ground disoriented the human, but not enough to keep a stream of flames from being shot at Gavin's head.
