So i have NO idea if its true but ive been hearing the word Dweek passed around the fandom.
Obviously its Doctor Who and Geek put together, but i dont like it, it sounds wierd...in my opinion 'whovian' is awesome and sticks better.

What do you guys think?

Why would they change Whovian to Dweek after fifty years of it being Whovian? That makes no sense. And it sounds like whoever's using Dweek is trying to emulate the Glee fandom. Which is really stupid 'cause Gleek is the only fandom way I think would even work to mix with geek.

Obviously, I'm a Whovian.

I agree 100%! I think "Dweek" is just the dumbest thing! Doctor Who fans have a name--we're Whovians.

Dweek sounds like an insult. Maybe you would call someone a dweek if they claimed to love Doctor Who but couldn't place common things such as exterminate, don't blink or the horror of multiple shadows.

I actually don't remember hearing the term "dweek" before. "Whovian" I've heard for decades.

I've heard this before, and I'll say I what I said when I was asked: I prefer Whovian, it makes more sense. 'Dweeks' doesn't sound right, in fact it could be one of those things that could be misconstrued as something else( like an insult). Also just googled 'Dweek' and Urban Dictionary's definition. sweatdrop
