Vampire one x one search

Hello one and all. It's been a long time since I was last on here, so I'm not sure how active this guild is anymore since I saw a bunch of 2013 and 2012 posts... sweatdrop But I figured I'd give it a shot.

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a one on one rp themed around vampires. It seems really hard the last few years to find good vampire themed rp's since everyone seemed to abandon vampires as a whole when the Twilight craze happened, but I'm not looking for the Twilight vampires here... What I REALLY want is to revive a plot idea that I've been trying to get going again, but every time I get someone interested it seems to die way too quickly, or as soon as things get good. I technically have a few plot ideas for a vampire rp, so I'll list them all below and just put " heart " next to them to show which I'm most interested in. The more hearts, the more the interest, but I'd really be fine with any of them at this point. I'll also be posting rules and preferences, so if you can get through everything hopefully we can get rp'ing soon. 3nodding

Rules/Preferences:

- Please don't power play/god mode without permission. Sure, I can understand certain things, such as grabbing a character's hand, or if you're character is inspecting mine for injury and moving them around and such, etc., but don't make huge decisions, decide on actions or words for my characters, or anything that would significantly dictate the post. You don't know my character, you don't know what I'm planning for each response, so let me control my character.

- Make sure you choose a character to play that's at least compatible with mine, or is just a character that can at least interact with others. Several times before I have had people make rp'ing nearly impossible because the character they chose hated people and thus wanted nothing to do with mine. I get that some character designs are more anti-social and less likely to interact with people, but if they would rather have no interaction at all then please either have exceptions for the rp or choose a character that can interact.

- Romance is preferred. I'm not saying the characters have to be madly in love when they first meet, but something that leads up to the characters having a possible romance would be nice. I am a hopeless romantic... And also amused by awkward moments.

- I play primarily female roles. I have no problems with playing multiple characters, and if I must bring in a male or get an idea for a male role that I can play then I will but I will not play solely male characters, and its very likely that if I bring in a male they will only be a minor role or a side character.

- If you can't reply for an extended period of time and know beforehand, please let me know so I'm not sitting here wondering if my reply didn't go through again or wondering if you just chose to abandon the rp. I understand things like emergency's, and life suddenly throwing a bunch of things onto your place all at once, and can patiently await you're return, but please don't just choose to stop replying without any reason otherwise.

- If you can't think of something to reply with, or get bored, I would rather discuss ways to either make it more interesting, or start over. If the rp is slowing down don't assume it's dead, writer's block and slow moments just happen sometimes.

- If you think of plot twists or something you wanna try and squeeze into the plot, speak up! I've had a few people who assume that because I'm the one looking for the rp, I'm the one that will be dictating what happens in every post, and that's not as fun. This is for the both of us, so I want you're input as well! If you happen to like a plot that I'll be listing, and you think you can tweak it or give it a fun twist, just let me know! I won't be mad. 3nodding

- Sorry to say but I only do m/f. No f/f or m/m, period. I'm just not comfortable rp'ing it. I'm a straight female, and thus, that's what I know how to do. I get that there are other people out there who can and like it but I'm not one of them. So please, respect my preference and I'll respect yours.

- Don't go too far with description when it comes to romance or violence! I don't need to be turning several shades of red or feeling queezy from a post.

- Please don't have a swear every other words. I personally don't prefer to swear myself, but for some characters I get it just might be something they do, just don't go overboard. Then it just gets annoying to read.

- NO ONE-LINERS! Please have at minimum a few sentences, because I need something to work with in order to reply, and likewise I will do my best to make sure you have something to work with as well for replies. I'm currently 22 and have been rp'ing since I was 12/13. I can't exactly write a novel, but I can write a decent post if given enough to work with.

- Please be at least semi-lit, lit. would be great. I understand that typos happen, and if English isn't you're first language, don't worry, I won't go grammar-nazi on you because I've talked with a few people who didn't know English as their first language and I've gotten good at deciphering things. That being said, please don't make me have to decipher every single word you say each and every post because that does get tedious, and that can make things just not worth it and I will have to stop the rp, sorry to say.

- Don't worry about how many posts this forum has, or how old it gets! Likely, I'll always be in the mood for one of these, so send me a pm about it any time!

- I only rp over Pm's. If you can prove to be a really, really good rp partner, I MAY be persuaded to Skype, but that's it. And again, that's only if you can really make it worth it for me, otherwise I prefer to keep it here on Gaia in the pm's.

- To prove to me you have read the rules/preferences, please put the title of the plot you are interested in as the title of the pm you send me if you wish to rp.

Plots:

To Save the Village: Every few years, a young woman is chosen as a sacrifice to the vampire who lives on a mountain overlooking the village of humans down below. Sometimes, she is delivered by the villagers, sometimes the vampire comes for her himself. Once the maiden is chosen, she is never to try and return, nor is anyone permitted to attempt to take her back. In exchange, the vampire goes elsewhere to hunt for food, and protects the village from anything unwanted (be that attack from outside forces, or something/someone supernatural). Normally the sacrificed woman is obedient, or ends up mad and thus eventually dead. So what happens when the vampire receives a woman brave enough to argue, and not afraid to tell him 'no'? Awakened: An ancient vampire royal had been sealed away in their prime, only to be awakened in the modern era. Unfamiliar with everything around them, they force the one who has awakened them to act as their servant and teach them how to live in the new age. Being the servant also means that they must feed them blood, least they be found out. The vampire has also not forsaken their title, and must contact the vampiric council of their return and reestablish themselves. ((I could play either a servant girl or a vampire queen)) heart heart

Odd Family: A girl is outcast when her family dies while she's still young, and detaches herself from others, to an extent. She and her younger sister are adopted by her best friend's family, and she really is only close with them, shutting out most others. As a grown woman, she meets an odd man who seems interested in her. Shortly after, she has a terrible accident. The same odd man finds her and offers her a choice. Die young, or live forever. Choosing to live, the woman is saved, and only has a week left to live as a human. Needing to say her goodbyes, the man helps her as needed through her transformation into a vampire. As they ready to leave, her little sister attempts to follow and runs into trouble... Will she also be saved? And how will the two adjust to living with a vampire, who is actually quite high in status in the vampiric world? ((I can play both the girl and the little sister)) heart heart heart

Feud: Two best friends who have known each other all their lives are suddenly faced with a harsh reality. The boy must leave, sent away by his parents to stay with family far away. Why? Even he hasn't been told yet. After a tearful goodbye, the two lose touch with one another even after promising not to. A few years later, the boy, now a man, returns to find his best friend. Worried that she might not even be in town anymore, he goes to her parents house only to hear that the girl had been murdered. Distraught, he runs away into the forest where the two had built a treehouse when they were young only to discover her there...and technically, she is dead. Now that she is a vampire, the two face a problem. He is from a rather old clan of werewolves, and the reason he had been sent away was to learn how to control the beast within him. The vampire coven she had become a part of has been feuding with his werewolf clan for centuries. Refusing to be enemies, the two are forced to either find a way to end the feud, or try and run and be hunted down for their forbidden relationship. Return of the Dark Ages: For the longest time, vampires had been a hidden society, preying on humans yet being more or less subdued...until a revolution happened. Many vampires of higher standings were royalty in their glory days, nobility, and aristocrats. Fed up finally with the modern era, vampires rose up and easily took over. Most technology was destroyed, save for rare areas where a select few vampires have chosen to preserve a few things. Other than that, it's like the middle ages all over again, with most of the rulers in the vampire society being from that era or close to it. Humans are now forced into hiding, and if not, they're kept in villages for vampires to use as food. Some humans try to fight the vampires, others have made hidden towns in attempts of living without a vampiric dictator. During a raid of one of these "free towns", a young woman is captured during this time, and while the others are rounded up to be taken to a village where they can live in wait of being hunted, something about her has the raiders deciding that she will taken to nearest ruling vampiric family and given to their son as a gift. Other:

- Currently, I am unemployed, don't go to school, but that may change soon. Until then, that leaves me with way too much time on my hands so I tend to be online quite often. All day and well into the night, typically.

- There may be times where I can't reply very often, despite what I have just said above. This is because I've been getting together with my friend more often and when I do I typically stay at her house for a week or longer, and when that happens, we aren't online much. We're typically hanging out or doing stuff. Although, I do have internet on my phone, so sometimes I use it to answer on Gaia or if she goes to do something on her own or something real fast she'll typically let me use her computer if I want to.

- If I can help it, I'll usually always give a heads up if I can't reply.

- I don't mind doing multiple rp's with one person! So, if you find yourself caught between choices, feel free to ask if I'll do multiple with you. smile On separate pm's of course. Unless your snarky about it or give me reason to say no, chances are I won't turn it down.

- If you wanna talk in ooc, I''m not opposed to it. Though typically if it's idle conversation, I prefer it in a separate pm, as I feel it could distract from the rp to put random conversation in it.

- I don't bite! As I've said above, I don't mind if you wanna throw in plot twists or something to shake up the rp altogether. Don't be afraid to make decisions! That being said, I will mind a little if you make a major, major change to the rp without discussing it with me first. If I think of something that will have a huge impact on the characters or rp in general, I'll discuss it first to see if you even like or are okay with the idea, so please have the same courtesy.

- FOR THE LOVE OF GODS! Please don't try and throw in "drama" by having you're character suddenly want absolutely nothing to do with mine. Many people seem to think that doing that is a way to add drama to the rp and spice it up, but in reality, it's just highly annoying and makes it extremely difficult to keep rp'ing, especially if there are no other characters in the rp. Proper drama in rp's is something for BOTH characters to go/struggle through that in the end will help them to be even closer, something that strengthens their bond, not acting as if they never had one in the first place.
