[ Everything you need to know about the 100 Days of Art Event ]

In 2012 and 2013, Kai_Chi started this awesome event. She gave her time and everything to make it successful. In 2014, three mods (drakokatze, Shestval, and ChiiDoLL) stepped in to help her with the event. Then in 2015, Kai_Chi could no longer give her time to Gaia and the event was continued through Shestval and ChiiDoLL. In 2016, the event gained a valuable member, Default, to help with the updating. We are proud to present the 2017 edition of the 100 Days of Art Event to you!

★ Artists
✦ Daily deadline is 11:59pm EST -- Eastern Standard Timezone
✦ Cannot submit "tomorrow's theme" early, you will be asked to re-post it on the correct day.
✦ PM the mule if there is an emergency in your life; we can work around travel, hospitalized, severe illness, etc.
✦ Spotlight cannot contain everyone, so do not be offended if your piece is not featured.
✦ Your name will be removed if you did not contribute anything during the group cycle (ie: days 1-10, 31-40).
✦ Hardcore artists may be rewarded with gold/items at the end of the event. List can be found here.
tab ✦ Hardcore artists: submitted on time daily for 100 days consecutively.
tab ✦ Artists: submitted 100 pieces and completed the event.
✦ ALL Artists who complete all 100 days will be placed into the Hall of Fame of the Year
✦ Must have QUOTE notification ON.
✦ Please double-check before submitting; you are allow up to three update/replacement per month.
✦ We ask that you put only three to five characters.

✦ All art is quoted and posted in the thread. No exceptions.
✦ No responder will be removed; max five days unless notified in advance regarding long absence.
✦ Must thank the artists for the art, regardless if you liked it or not, ungratefulness will be banned.
✦ You may alter the template below, but must post the contract or request will be immediately denied.
✦ Read the contract and make sure you agree to it before posting.
✦ Large images must be in spoilers.
✦ Broken links and images will result the removal of the entire request.
✦ We reserve the rights to adjust and modify your format for better clarify.

✦ First 10 days are marked as lenient days -- for last minute join-in and timezone adjustment.
✦ Every 10th day will have "Finish/improve an earlier drawing" theme.
✦ Submissions after the update-time will be updated at a later time.
✦ Themes will be updated during the update-time (11:59pm EST).
✦ One Spirit Pass is granted per month, additional passes are gained through Spirit Challenges.
✦ Spirit passes are used automatically if you miss the deadline/day, make-up art is not required.
✦ Any media is welcome: visual and non-visual (poetry, writing, music, etc)
tab ✦ Long written work should have an excerpt of a short snippet that makes the theme obvious.
✦ All work submitted must be yours! Cheaters will be banned immediately.
