A series of bad poems

Disclaimer: I am not in any way a poet. Most of these are attempts at song-writing, but I can't do that, either. I can sing, and I can write stories, but writing songs and poems is beyond me.
Let the emo begin!

Everyone Except You
Inside my head is screaming
Everyone can hear it
Except you
My heart is tearing me apart
Everyone can see it
Except you
I am secretly crying in myself
Everyone can feel it
Except you
My blood is slowly pooling on the floor
Everyone can taste
Except you
You are the one slowly killing me
Everyone can smell it
Except you
My soul is peeling from my life
Everyone can sense it
Except you

Alright, one last one...so you can see I'm not so emoish...

Backwards
Eyes wide shut
Mouth shut wide
Ears screaming, hands bleeding
Faraway, ever close
Never gone, ever there
Be forever never apart
Heart melts molten ice
Always backwards turning forwards
See nothing, blind to no one
Truth lies but fallacy prophesize

In my reverse world
Love never lives but lingers
Stays in a place that never dies
Existance is just that, nothing more
Rain burns an exquisite melody
Blood cuts its living path
Fire creates nature's renewal
Whose to say this cannot be?


Yeaaah, written at 3 a.m. last night!

Depending on how it is sung, those might make good songs. As poems, I'm not so sure it works out. You should practice song writing and get good at it. After all, if you can sing, why not write your own material?

I really like this part of the second one

I don't know exactly why I really like that bit but something about it appeals to me...

Not exactly very constructive I know but I'm not a poet so I don't really know what you could do to improve...
