Eh, this thing, I bet it's going to go bursting into a sea of black fire.
All I got to say is, I just, never really liked how Cloud acted. I know he had been through a lot, but he should move on and live with Tifa Lockheart, you know? I mean, even in DoC, the dark and brooding Vincent Valentine was able to move on after the loss of Lucrecia, so Cloud should be able to move on. Instead, he has to be full of angst and make Tifa feel bad and angry. Causing so much frustration when instead he could cause so much happiness.
I don't really hate him, just that he couldn't learn to move on... The other person I never really liked was Loz.... And Kadaj.... Loz because he had to knock out Tifa with a shock gun instead of fighting fair, hand to hand. And Kadaj for damn near destroying Aeris' beautiful church.
P.S. For the Cloud thing... I know it's alright to mourn, but he's obssessing over her. You can mourn, just don't spend every living moment of your life mourning, or else you'll never find happiness.

Jusy I agree with you that Cloud was acting too emo in AC, and that he should've treated Tifa better. But you seem to be forgetting about the GeoStigma. He couldn't really move on because he was currently afflicted with a horrible disease. From the scene where Tifa picks up his bandages, he was clearly hiding from her, not because he was moping around but because he didn't want her to know he was sick too. The bursting like a sea of black fire bit sounds about right to me as well. *sigh*
I guess it makes a BIT sense, but... You see, I always go by the "always show your pain, never keep it inside." I know, maybe he didn't want to scare Tifa by showing him her pain, maybe even giving her more grief. But still, that's still no reason to be so 3m0, you know? Just, do it and get over with it..
Maybe he's less Emo after DoC, but with only his slight Cameo, you never know. Hopefully he moved on like ol' VinVin... I know, gay sounding name, but I love how it sounds... Like FiFi, my girlfriend's pet name.
Maybe I shoulda made it "Sea of black flame" instead of fire.... I'm not sure, but I think this is a repeat... I may be thinking of Final Fantasy Exhileration, but I'm not too sure.

foxyboy_chan Hm...
I've never really HATED any FF7 character but I really dislike Shelke and Lucrecia.
Lucrecia because of her stupid choices. She caused great grief for Vincent, but I know she loved him anyhow, which is why I don't really HATE her, just dislike her. Because of her he's still alive, y'know?
I don't like Shelke because... She's emo... Er... I just don't really like her. She's just... weird. I dunno. She was in the Tsveits. Er... I just don't really like her, but I still kinda do. Um...
I don't think I've ever really hated any guy character.
I even like Hojo. He's cool. I liked him before he went insane (before he shot Vincent).
Aright.... Spoilers for DoC in next explanation...
Thing about Shelke. Just gotta realize 1 thing, 1 simple thing.... She was raised to be a weapon for 10 years, being denied a childhood and grew up as a tool rather than a human. I mean, with that mentality, it'll take a while before she can become a true human. Because, as Rosso put it, even when they were released, all they had learned since birth was to kill, and that's the only thing they could do. Sorta like how the slaves of America, even when they were not slaves anymore, they still worked for their past "owners" because that's all they knew how to do.
Just takes a while before she can be normal... And by the end of the game, she became, somewhat normal.... I mean, she became the super sister, you know? The kind of perfect sister that you only see in old TV shows, or Love Hina.... Eh, I dunno....
