RP -- HELLSING -- INACTIVE -- Order 14: [HL][OA]

She took the seltzer gratefully, "Not really, but I'll try and eat. Let's walk first. I believe the park was down this way," she indicated up the street.

The park she'd spotted warranted the name only in an old city like London, spotted with age old churchyards ignored by the modern world. In these seemingly untouched enclaves a bit of nature blossomed amidst traffic and noise, only steps away from the busy daily rush of the metropolis. A small bench, a stunted tree and grass with a marginal hold on the small plot of land provided a bit of respite. Up against the old church wall were a pair of rose bushes clearly tended with love by an unknown gardener.

This is really pretty... vaguely otherworldly... he shook his head ... I've been in this vampire world too long already. And there's no way out.
"Rather nice place here."
He cleared the leaves off a bench and motioned for Integra to sit.

She did so with a nod of thanks. "It looks like an old place. Easily here before my family. So much history right here beneath the modern veneer if anyone cares to see it.
Edmund, I know the generalities of your family, and I know very well about my own, do you know much of yours? Your family history, ancestral stories or legends?" She contemplated the soda in her hand. "Our child will be as much a Rowley as a Hellsing, no matter the legal name it holds."

"Stories? Um..."
Edmund looked confused, rather due to being put on the spot, his eyes darted around, trying to kick his memories into gear.
"History? I don't know... Um...?"
He took a drink of his soda and sat back to think further.  

[Sir_Catherine]

"I still sound as if I was interviewing you, don't I?", she asked with a wry smile. She wanted to thank him but for what; tolerating her, putting up with the formality of a recently arranged marriage? Neither were exactly good things to come out and say, even if she was thankful for such patience and understanding on his part.

"Indeed, you somewhat do. Um..."
Edmund brushed his hair nervously with his fingers
"Stories... right..."  

[Sir_Catherine]

She smiled at him, hoping to put him at his ease, "Don't think you have to recall one right this moment. When you think of one, would you share it with me? Being a Hellsing gives a twist to the saying "blood is thicker than water", but I still hold with the intent of the phrase."

Edmund smiles a skewed smile as he thinks,
Is that smile meant to put me at ease or is it merely an indication of tolerance?
"Well... that's good, because I can't think of a bloody thing at the moment."

She sat in silence with him for a while. The sun slanted in from just beyond the slanted church roof. Evening soon, traffic noises picked up as the afternoon rush took hold.

Almost absently she spoke, "There is more to me than business and family. I'm just not sure how to share it with you outside of a documented list." He'd really expect something like that of me too, she thought.

Letting Aramis tend to Elizabeth, and push his persuasion regarding seeking medical aid, Kateri moves to stand closer to Maxwell for conversation.
