Combat Arena

[Sigilos]

He twitched his leg back, feeling the blade just miss his scales This female was fast! He grinned.

*Well well, the little one has some bite after all. Very well, no more sparing, but this is not to the death. This is simply a first fall, first lose match. The first to be on the ground for more then ten seconds loses.*

With that, he twirled his swords around her own, a pattern of flashing steel, inching closer and closer. If she didn't move back, she would be sliced.

Dodging and flourishing her swords several times, Shaydra managed to block and evade the male's blades, though every time she tried to escape, the gold's two swords stopped her. She was tiring quickly, and she had already been sliced on the shoulder. She had to duck out of this web of steel soon or be impaled.
Suddenly, she fell, suprising the gold and stopping the onslaught of blades for a second. That was all Shaydra needed to roll between the huge legs quickly and deliver a large slicing blow to the inside of the left leg. the momentum of the hit catapaulted Shaydra to the side and she quickly stood up before the ten seconds went past. Looking around, she dodged out of the way of the gold's swinging tail.

Soviless watched her fall and sighed " i wish this would hurry up i want too fight now.

OOC: (Well, I would say use magic for weapon summoning and to work with things, but not on the other person. Let's stick with just physical blows for now.)

Sigilos felt the steel bite into his flesh. He winced and knelt for a moment, running his claw along the wound. It scabbed over as his claw passed over it. It wasn't perfect or complete, but it was better then nothing. Standing up, he faced his opponent.

*Not bad, it's been a while since I was injured in battle, especially twice in one day. Those blades are sharp, and strong in order to pierce my scales. I'll have to be more careful.*

He sprang at the female, his blades spinning again. He hooked one of his swords in the guard on one of hers and flung it to the side, disarming her in one clean move. Her sword sunk into one wall of the arena, too deep to pull out in one move. He tossed one of his blades into the other side of the arena, evening the odds. Now, it was one blade against another.

Wincing as her wrist jerked from being disarmed, Shaydra lifted an eyebrow. "So you'd rather play with one blade, not two? So be it. But let's make the size fairer." Whipping out her pencil again, She made another lead cloud over herself, and instead of fading quickly, the cloud grew bigger and bigger.
When it dissapeared, Shaydra was a coulpe of feet longer and bigger, just a bit smaller than her opponent, and the slice on her shoulder had stopped trickling blood. She slid the pencil behind her ear and tossed her sword to her left paw.
"I find it easier to use my left paw, as I'm left handed as a human. Now, let's resume our fight." Crouching in one fluid moment, she leapt at the male with her sword raised above her head, wings wide open, ready to fly.

Sigilos stood calm, catching her sword on his. He pushed her backwards, catapulting her into the air. He opened his wings, and was rocketing after her with one powerful wing beat. He felt her blade glance of his shoulder, as his momentum carried him above her. His scales were scratched, but it was nothing a little healing wouldn't erase. He swung around, hanging in the air, waiting for her next move. This was one of the best fights of his life!

As Shaydra tumbled in the wind created by the gold's hovering, she folded her wings and plummeted to the ground feet first. When she reached the ground, touching it lightly, she shot her legs out from under her, springing in the air once again, wings unfurled.
She flew back up to face her opponent, rather than tumbling underneath him. She edged closer, and when she was a wingbeat away, she beat her wings down, pushing herself just a bit above the male, though not high enough to avoid her feet crashing into his snout.
Instead, Shadra curled her feet in, and when her feet brushed his snout, she shot her legs out again, pushing his face a fraction down. It would not bleed, but there would likely be a bruise there later on.
Tumbling up and over her opponent, she flipped from the momentum, facing down at him. She swung her left paw, her sword slicing his wing membrane lightly. the added force of the blow gave her enough thrust to flip over the male and behind him.
All of this took a matter of seconds, and Shaydra grinned from the exhileration of a good fight. And what a good fight it was!

Soviless's heart beat happy, from a the great fight had just seen.Soviless leaned against the wall " i wonder if its my turn " Soviless said with a clenched fist.  

[Sigilos]

A low growl escaped the gold's throat. This was too much.

He folded his wings, landing full on the ground. His weight and momentum sent a jolt through the stadium floor. He unfurled one wing, and looked at the tear. With a swift thought, he Shifted it shut, healing it completely. He rubbed the end of his snout, and glared at the little female above him. Another growl escaped him. He was a little angry now.

*Fine, you want to play, we can play.*

He Shifted again, taking on his Fullblood form. Now he was huge, a behemoth of golden scales and leathery wings. He lept into the sky, a massive roar ripped from his gargantuan chest. His sword was stuck into the arena floor, forgotten. His claws were sharper then a razor made of diamond, and just as hard. That snout trick had pushed his pride. He grabbed the females sword in one paw, feeling the steel bite into his flesh and not caring. It was nothing he couldn't fix. He tore into her side with one paw, the claws sinking into her side again and again. It wasn't to deep, her scales were thicker then he thought, he would have to push harder to really get in. Still, blood fell from the sky like rain. He flapped his wings a little harder, pushing them both higher into the sky.

Shaydra growled as the sharp claws dug into her side. She was discovering quickly that the male was very tough. he had been playing with her before.
She wiggled in his claws like a worm on a fishhook. That helped draw them out a bit, though it was very painful. She fought the urge not to roar out in agony. She clenched her teeth and beat her wings back, pulling the claws out more.
Finally, the claws were extracted out fully, though her blood poured out in a mini fountain and was also slathered all over the male's claws. Taking out her pencil, Shaydra erased the life-threatening wounds with the back of her pencil, leaving a void made of nothing in her side.
Wincing, she drew on her side, healing it, though she was still weak, and a few main parts inside her body were not healed, as she had only done the surface. She would completely heal after the battle.
Shaydra was too weak to continue hovering. She stopped moving her wings, though she still held them out to slow down her fall.
With her pencil still out, she drew her claws longer and harder, her teeth sharper, as it seemed they would not use blades anymore. She also drew spikes on her tail and dissapeared in another lead cloud, emerging out as her usual size. She was going to battle with agility, not brawn.

He was angry, but not Feral. He saw the size shift, and decided to play along. He Shifted himself, becoming thinner and lighter, but keeping his size advantage for now. He stayed in the air, waiting for the little one to reach the area floor.

Even as she touched the arena floor, Shaydra kept her wings open, ready to fly when her energy returned. She watched the gold, waiting for his next move.

He grinned, this female was a good fighter.

*Very well, little one. Time for some magic tricks.*

As he hovered in the air, a few hundred feet above the arena floor, a swirl of air began to surround him. It started as a haze, and became thicker and thicker, until it was a whirling wall of water. As soon as it was condensed, it covered him entirely, then froze. His ice armor was hard, and colder then an Arctic wind. Anything coming near it would freeze as soon as it was within two yards of him. The moisture in the air around him began to freeze, snow falling to the ground beneath him. Beneath the glassy carapace, his eyes glowed a deep blue, the light shining through the armor.

Shaydra stepped back, awed at the freezing ice around her opponent. She decided to use a little magic herself.
She drew in the air a ball of energy, that, when finished, was revealed as a fuzzy ice star an inch in width. Shaydra gritted her teeth. It was supposed to be a fire star, but affected by the temperature, it had taken different properties. No matter. Frozen fire was very powerful, and if anything but her touched the star, it would trap the creature in a cocoon of burning, yet freezing ice.
She caught the frozen fire and tossed it up again, murmuring an incatation of some sort. The star hovered instead of falling, and it multiplied smoothly, surrounding Shaydra. Then the multiples multiplied, and the process repeated itself until Shaydra was surrounded with a nebula of ice stars. Some of the stars glowed brightly, and in an instant, became an fire-ice cloak of pulsing stars. The rest revolved around her.
The frozen fire helped Shaydra get warm and regain energy, although she would still freeze if she touched the gold's ice armor. Then she looked up at him, her liquid brown eyes turning midnight black."Now, how are supposed to fight? If one touches the other, then they are frozen. Make your move."

Soviless saw the battle unfold right in front of him and smiled " wow he got big, cool ".
