On a chilly evening a celebration Gala was being held! All the guests dressed in their best gowns and suits, walked along an illuminated path toward the ballroom, decorated for the scene. Tonight celebrates a new year! With a new year comes new beginnings. Only students and professors are allowed to enter, this is a private event held especially for the lovely students of Eoana. The three Court Mages in charge ordered this Gala, believing students deserved a little rest from the challenges of school. Each one assisted and aided in the creation of this lovely event. Chaperoning the event are the majority of the Professors, overseeing all of the activities to ensure that everything goes according to plan. But fear not, the fun will go on!

The halls are decorated in hues of gold, silver, black, and hints of blue. Chandlers glistening and dimly lit, giving off a very relaxed, regal look. The main hall is cleared for dancing, music filling the air and creating the ambiance. A large orchestra sits in the corner, playing to their hearts content. Scattered around are standing tables to linger around and relax, while shorter sitting tables line the walls for those who need tor est after dancing to their hearts content. In another corner comes a buffet of refreshments and small snacks for those in need.

Come, enjoy the night! Dance to your hearts content and celebrate the New Year! Show off your elegant suits and dresses, smile and laugh with your friends. This is an event that comes only once a year, don't let the night go to waste...

    [ - Kitchen/Ballroom Set-up Post - ]

Even with the help of the other chefs and assistants, the preparation of the feast took the rest of the day and then some to complete. There were all manner of foods created and displayed for the students and staff to enjoy during the event. The ‘finger foods’ or things to appetize were the first to finish. Fresh breads, slices cheeses, the best meats, as well as delicious fruits, nuts, berries and more were places upon silver trays and arranged on the large tables prior to the guest’s arrival. Water, juice, non-alcoholic apple cider and more were also available to accompany the appetizers.

But even while the appetizers were finished, dinner was still underway. The main courses consisted of a variety of meats; succulent roasts, baked chicken with herbs and vegetables, roasted duck, sautéed fish, steamed seafood, the list went on and on. To accompany the proteins, there were a variety of vegetables, cooking in a variety of ways with accompanying sauces, as well as freshly bakes breads, crisp salads, casseroles, pastas, and more. Dinner would be presented only after the majority of the students had arrived for the event.

Dessert would be the last to come out and have been prepared by a separate team of cooks, whose specialty lied in sweets. Pies, cakes, cheesecakes, custards, pudding, Danishes, the list seemed endless. There was something for everyone and Emma knew that no one would leave the Gala without having tried at least one of the decadent desserts from the beautiful arrangement that was being created.

Wiping her hands clean, Emma took a long drink of water and marveled at all that they had accomplished over the last eight hours. The smells wafting from the kitchen would make anyone salivate and each dish was perfectly made. While alcohol wouldn’t be available to the students that were underage, cider, ale and wine would be offered to the staff and any students that were old enough to partake. Although Emma wasn’t necessarily dressed for the Gala, Kayne had asked if she could stay and serve the alcohol while he managed the kitchen and oversaw the food service. Happy to help, Emma readily agreed and thus began to set up the bar area where she would be working.

Kayne had mentioned that his mother would be bringing him a change of clothes more appropriate for the Gala, as he was a staff member as well who would likely partake in the festivities at some point. He’d also offered to bring her a dress if she felt so inclined to change and not feel too out of place while she worked the event. Emma still wasn’t sure if she would accept the offer to change, but then again, with everyone else was dressed to impress, she would feel a bit out of place standing in the ballroom wearing her dirty kitchen dress.

In any case, the Gala would begin shortly, and all the students would arrive dressed to impress. She couldn’t wait to see everyone and experience the evening, even if she was just a spectator.

[ - Enter Gannon into the Ballroom for the Event - ]

Gannon was amongst the first of the staff to arrive at the Gala. Classes were just finishing, and the students were abuzz with anticipation. Everyone seemed very excited about the event and the chance to dress up and celebrate the New Year together. Dressed in a deep red, Gannon hoped that Elohari would enjoy the new look that that he wore. It was rare the he dressed so formally – even as a Court Mage, he rarely had to attend functions that required him to dress the way he was now. While he didn’t hate the idea of ‘dressing up’, he much preferred his more casual, comfortable attire. Regardless, one night wouldn’t kill him and, in any case, Gannon felt rather dashing in his outfit.

Brageet had opted to spend the night hunting, thus Gannon was without his usual, lovely companion. But it was all well and good, Brageet wouldn’t have enjoyed the crowds or the noise. The chances of her getting jostled and prodded at an event like this were high, thus she’d opted to stay away for her own comfort.

The ballroom was decorated with hundreds of candles that flickered like so many stars. The chandeliers had been polished brilliantly and sparkled in the candlelight. The orchestra was ready, already set up at the far side of the room on a raised platform that would allow them to be seen and also help amplify the music that they played, so all could enjoy it. Standing tables lined the walls, their white and silver linens crisp and fresh. Lower sitting tables were placed on the far wall opposite the orchestra and nearer the buffet – this would be an area for people to gather to eat and chat while others filled the main interior of the ballroom to dance to their hearts content.

Kayne had already set up the buffet/feast table with the appetizers that he and his team of cooks and assistants had created. They’d really outdone themselves…Smiling at the set-up he noticed a woman at the far corner setting up a bar area for the adults who would be attending. Gannon smiled a bit at this. She was going to be very busy this evening, serving everyone. He didn’t know who she was, but if Kayne had asked her to help with the event, Gannon had full confidence that she would do a good job.

Stepping toward the orchestra, he asked them to begin playing light tunes to draw the students in. No doubt, everyone would be shy at first and hang around the food and sitting tables instead of dancing, but with a little encouragement, he was sure that in no time the interior of the ballroom would be full of dancing couples, enjoying the evening. He too hoped to dance at least a few songs with his beloved…He couldn’t wait to see her.

Rick had been tempted to sit this event out and spend his time practicing his Violin in his Dorm room, the opportunity was there, but as he got his favourite instrument out to tune, his eyes fell across the envelope he'd opened earlier and the Diviner would exhale a sigh. He had nobody to go with having decided to reserve himself for that special person when they arrived, but at the same time, it was an event where he had the opportunity to actually meet that one true soul... Putting his Violin away, the male cast a glance over towards his belongings before turning his attention towards the closet where he kept his best clothes... "Gotta make an effort I guess," he looked to Branwen who had already seemed to have gotten herself settled for the evening.

It wouldn't be too spectacular, but Rick would pull out one of this least worn shirts and a vest which he'd kept separately before spreading them out across his bed.

With nobody but Branwen currently around, the male wouldn't concern himself with who saw and change promptly, taking a moment to freshen himself up before pulling on his Suit for the Night - it had only been worn a few times and saved for only the most important occasions, but if he was going to look his best, this would be what he wore.

"Are you coming Pretty Bird?" Rick would look up to the Rafters where Branwen had already fluffed up her feathers, "Might need my plus one," he shot her a grin, his eyebrow quirked before rolling his eyes as she seemed to turn around on her perch,

"Sleepy. Go Dance."

"Well...Fine." He had to admit, he was a little disappointed to hear that, but then again, she did have the right to say no... "Want me to leave the window open incase you change your mind?"

"Cold." the White Raven exhaled a grumble, but opened a beady eye to watch as Rick crossed the room and opened it a crack,

"Just incase you change your mind." he smiled, then as he turned, he would take a second to ensure everything was in place and he looked presentable before making his way down to the Grand Ballroom.

[~ Patrick Exits Dorms for Gala ~]

Having taken his time getting there, Rick was quite surprised to see he was perhaps the first student to arrive...? He turned his gaze to make a comment to his usual companion, then remembered that Branwen had opted to stay behind... "...Here we go then," Swallowing his unnatural trepidation, Patrick stepped into the hall, pausing almost immediately to note the great effort that had gone into making the evening special for its guests.

There were a few souls dotted about, but Rick could only stand there slack-jawed at the sight - at least until he realised what he was doing and promptly gathered himself. At the sound of light music finally breaking the quiet of the room, his gaze would fall upon a well dressed Gentleman in a beautifully tailored red coat - the man had obviously inspired the band to play and it wasn't until he turned that Rick actually recognised him.

Striding across the room, the Diviner felt it only right to engage the Court Mage in a brief, acknowledging conversation before allowing him to his no doubt busy schedule? "Gannon, Sir, Is that you?" he would tilt his head slightly, "I must admit you look splendid, but I almost didn't recognise you without your Beautifully Feathered Companion," He could only presume with the dying light of day, Brageet had perhaps set off for a little nightly hunting whilst the Gala was underway? Still, the Diviner had to admit he felt quite lost without his own Feathered Friend by his side...

Hearing his name, Gannon turned around to catch sight of his student, or former student - since he was no longer teaching the Diviner Class – Patrick Lockheart. Dressed for the Gala, he too had chosen black and red for the occasion. Offering the boy a warm smile of welcome, he bowed his head in greeting. “Mr. Lockheart, you look rather dashing this evening.” It seemed that Patrick was one of the first students to arrive at the Gala.

“Yes, Brageet would have liked to come to see the splendor, but given how loud and crowded this ballroom is likely to become, she opted to spend the evening alone. I assume the same could be said for your own lovely bird, Branwen?” He asked with a small smile. Brageet had little to no interest in such events and he didn’t blame her. Looking at the boy’s vest and shirt, he smiled. “You have very fine taste, Mr. Lockheart. It seems we both enjoy the red and black combination.” Gannon said with a small smirk. He had to wonder if many others would wear the color combination tonight.

“Kayne and his army of cooks really went all out with the food. From the smells alone I can tell that the feast will be one to remember.” Gannon said with a small smile. Soon enough, other students began to walk into the ballroom, their eyes darting to the candles, the orchestra, the decorations. Each student was dressed in formal wear, as was instructed. Smiling a bit, Gannon was glad to see that despite the recent incident on campus, the students were in high spirits.

After a quick little stop to drop her day clothes in her dorm and freshen up, Fiona made a hesitant entrance into the large open room, she fiddled with the edges of her new outfit as a sort of coping method, just refraining from overdoing it. Most of the room were just faces of whome she'd never seen, among them stood out two people in particular.

Knowing the last thing she wanted was to curl up on her own somewhere, she made a delayed approach towards her recent associate, Patrick, and the man from the office early today, Gannon. Her head hung down just a little as while she at least knew the faces, her mind still grew anxious of the sheer number of strangers present.

Finally able to reach them after much delay, she went to speak up to the pair. "M-Mister Noble... Patrick, h... hello..!" Her voice just enough to hopefully catch their attention, assuming her obvious flustered movements nearby didn't. "I... Um, I hope I'm not... Intruding."

Elijah couldn’t wait to see the look on Ezra’s face when he saw his outfit. With his silver white hair and his silver white outfit, he knew he would be a sight to see. Elijah was going to stand out in the crowd – not something that he normally likely to do but given the occasion and the fact that he wanted to catch, hold and keep Ezra’s eyes on him the entire night, a little dramatic flare was called for.

His long hair was freshly washed, dried and brushed, falling down the length of his back. The locks swayed back and forth as he walked down the hall and entered the Ballroom. Decorated elegantly, Elijah smiled, his gaze roaming over the room. The candle light, the succulent smells of the food, the beautiful music, it was an elegant affair and one that he was happy to participate in. Looking around the room he caught sight of Gannon conversing with a student. Interestingly enough, both males wore red and black. Grinning wide, Elijah suspected that he would be one of the few males that deiced to wear a light color instead of a dark one – he was sure to stand out! As he watched, a lovely young lady approached the two, wearing a dress that was lovely in its pastel shades. She looked a bit nervous, but Elijah hoped that as the night went on, she would enjoy herself.

Walking over to the bar area, he noticed that the lovely lady behind the bar was still setting up. Regardless, she looked up from her work to offer him a lovely smile. “Good evening, what can I get for you, Sir?”

Offering her a friendly smile, he looked over her selection for a moment. “May I have a glass of champagne?” The girl nodded happily and popped a fresh bottle for him before pouring him a glass and handing it to him with another lovely, friendly smile. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a gold coin and offered it to her. To his surprise, she shook her head and declined.

“There’s no need to pay for the drink, Sir.” Elijah smiled wide and shook his head. Stepping forward, he placed the coin down on the table and held her gaze.

“This is for you. Consider it a bonus for being so lovely.” That being said he raised his glass to her and stepped away. He suspected that the girl was hired staff to help with the event. There was no telling how much she was getting paid, or if she was a volunteer, and as such she deserved any tips she made tonight - she was by far the friendlies bar tender he'd seen at an event like this, so he was happy to tip her.

Sipping his champagne, Elijah headed toward the orchestra to enjoy the music while he watched the students and waited for a certain someone to make his entrance to the Gala. Elijah couldn’t wait to see the look on Ezra’s face…Elijah also had to wonder if or when Ven would show up. Would his best friend dress for the occasion? Perhaps arrive with the lovely Gia on his arm? He certainly hoped so.

After his Music class, the male ventured to his dorm. While he had more than enough time, he thought it would be wiser to go ahead and prepare for the gala. When he entered his dorm, he put his satchel down on his bed and sat on the edge. He glanced around his room a few times, almost missing a note that was sitting near the table on the ground. Raising a brow, he approached the note and picked it up. His eyes widened in surprise as he read the contents. It was a note from Kayl which was obvious due to the penmanship. But what took him by surprise was that it pretty much explained why he wasn’t there this morning and why he hadn’t been able to see Lelyna all day. Rolling his eyes, he smiled lightly and shook his head. So, he had to wait by the main entrance right before the gala started? That could definitely be arranged.

With his bad mood fully gone, he put the note down and decided to get down to business. The sooner he got ready and headed over, the sooner he could see Lelyna. He went inside and instantly got one of his suits that he packed for special occasions. He wasn’t exactly his fan of wearing such attire despite him having to do so most of his life. Tonight however, he wanted to look his best for Lelyna. The prince worked to get ready, even tying his hair back. It still looked a bit wild, bit more polished. He put his suit on and glanced at himself in a mirror. Nodding to himself, he placed his pocket watch in a pocket and put on his rings and a pendant. Once finished, Mikhail began to head out to the main entrance where he was advised to go.

[~ Mikhail Exits Dorms for Gala ~]

Once at his destination, Mikhail stood by the entrance and leaned on the wall. He saw a few people enter and gave a couple of them a small greeting. Folding his arms over his chest, he glanced up at the sky and decided to spend his time gazing up and admiring what was above him. Hopefully he could admire something even more beautiful in time. What the prince didn’t know was that, that time would come a lot sooner than he expected. And when it did, he would definitely not be mentally prepared for it whatsoever.

Ezra walked down the path, as he glanced at his pocket watch. He was to meet his lover, Elijah, at the gala taking place for the evening. It was something that he was somewhat excited to attend. After what happened with some of the students and things he had heard, today was a day for relaxation and then fun. He had spent the majority of the day at his home, he didn’t have any classes for the day since it was solely elective classes. The celebrar had also took it a upon himself to get plenty of work done. He usually did so, but knowing that the gala was coming up, he decided to go above and beyond. Doing so would give him a chance to focus on his sweet librarian and not have to let his mind wander or even worry about work in the slightest.

As he walked, he began to wonder if Gianna would be attending with Ven. He expected them to of course. Gia liked going to events when they took place now and then. He knew that where the blonde elementor went, Ven would go as well. The two, while they still weren’t quite where they used to be, they weren’t on horrible terms. Walking alone to the gala made him think of the time where he would escort his best friend to the events that went on back when they were in school. At the time, Gia’s father didn’t allow dates. But since Ezra was the trustworthy best friend, he was allowed to take her. The male remembered how he had to make sure she understood how lovely she looked and how no one could compare to her, especially since she was always slightly unsure of herself. Now, she had a newfound confidence. With Ven by her side, he knew that he could do the job. But, Ezra just wished that he could relive those days. Before he messed up, before he hurt her.

Catching himself before his mood went completely downhill, he shook his head and entered the ballroom. Letting out a breath, he glanced around and admired how nicely decorated it was. Everything was absolutely elegant, simply beautiful. But, his crimson orbs caught side of the most breathtaking sight by far. Smirking, he made his way over to Elijah who was standing by the orchestra and wrapped an arm around the other male’s waist. ”Even without the elegant and flashy attire, you definitely shine the brightest. You are absolutely radiant and blinding. To think I get to be the lucky individual who can act as the shadow to such a bright and beautiful sight.” He leaned in for a kiss and smiled. Taking Elijah’s champagne glass, he took a small sip. ”How are you feeling?”

Elijah stood listening and admiring the orchestra when he felt a strong arm wrap around his waist and draw him close. Smiling wide, he turned to look at his lover, an appreciative gleam in his eye as he took in Ezra’s slicked back hair and dark attire. He looked dashing, handsome, heroic and dangerous all at the same time. Listening to Ezra’s words, he felt his chest swell with pride and a bit of ego as he absorbed his lover’s compliments.

Leaning in, he kissed Ezra’s lips lovingly for a long, lingering moment before their lips parted. Elijah didn’t protest when Ezra took his champagne and sipped it lightly. The two were practically living together and shared everything between them, even clothes. Wrapping his arm around Ezra’s waist, he held him close. “You look amazing, Ezra…Dark and dashing…” They certainly were a pair, dark and light. He felt like the moon while Ezra acted like the night.

“I am wonderous. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy the Gala, but with you by my side, I’m sure that it is a night I won’t soon forget.” Which was a funny comment to make, considering that Elijah could never forget anything.

“You look well, my love. Undeniably handsome, and charming, as always.” There was no doubt in his mind that Ezra had students who harbored crushes on him, and Elijah knew that many of them would have hearts in their eyes upon seeing their professor tonight. “Will you dance with me tonight?” He whispered, leaning in to rest his head upon Ezra’s shoulder lightly. Their relationship was no secret, but Elijah wasn’t sure if Ezra would be up for dancing in front of everyone this evening.

"Thank you, Sir," Rick's trademark smile would grace the male's face at Gannon's compliment, then he would laugh weakly and scratch the back of his head at the mention of Branwen, "To be honest, I think it's past her bedtime, she just wanted to settle down to roost - although I did leave the window ajar just incase she changes her mind," He had hoped she might have come along, giving him someone to talk to when he wasn't making small talk with the other guests, but she had her mind set and so he left without her.

"It's something I try to keep safe for very special occasions," Rick would nod with a smile, feeling a second thank you may be too much and a good show of his nerves, "I must admit, aside from the wonderful work that went into decorating, the smell is more than a little alluring," he would definitely make a pass around the banquet when he got the chance, but for now, mingling seemed to be the best plan,

Patrick felt his ears twitch as Fiona's voice drew his attention from the Court Mage and his smile widened, "Hey! Fiona!" his eyes would widen, matching his smile as he took in the sight of her dress, then he would bow, resisting the urge to offer her a welcoming hug - although it was fine and quite traditional in regards to his family, Rick knew others didn't always feel the same way, "No, not at all," he would beam, hoping his smile could perhaps set her at ease? "You look Wonderful," he couldn't help but notice that she had come alone and wondered if perhaps he'd had the chance, he might have offered to accompany her that evening?

As they rode in the carriage back to the academy, Kayl couldn't help but feel pleased with himself. Looking over at Lelyna once more, he couldn't help but smile at what he saw. She was stunningly beautiful, and he wouldn't be surprised if she turned many a head at the Gala. For a brief moment, Kayl wondered if Mihkail would survive the night without giving the death glare to any man that gazed upon her, but the thought passed quickly. 'As if he'd be able to avert his own eyes...' Kayl thought with a light chuckle as he looked back out the window. As they continued to ride, Lelyna spoke once more, thanking him from the bottom of her heart. "Think nothing of it Lelyna, you both are my dear frien..." Kayl had nearly cut himself off as he looked to her once more mid sentence, her eyes completely open as she cheerfully spoke. Kayl couldn't help but feel humbled. Lelyna normally kept her eyes shut when dealing with others, he always wondered why. But that she felt comfortable enough to open them naturally and give a full genuine smile made his heart warm. "...friends," Kayl said briefly finishing his sentence before continuing. "So I am glad that I could help in any way."

It didn't take long for the carriage to reach the school grounds, passing through the outer gates, and following the path to the main halls. As they approached, Kayl could see a familiar figure hanging by the grand hall's entrance, leaning against the wall impatiently. "Looks like we are right on time, Lelyna," Kayl said as the carriage pulled up through a roundabout and stopped in front of the main entrance. "I took the liberty of notifying Mihkail, it seems he received the note as he is here, eagerly awaiting your arrival," Kayl said with a smile and excitement in his voice. The carriage driver came about to open the door, and Kayl brought his hand up, waving for him to give them pause. "Are you ready?" Kayl asked Lelyna as he gave her a moment to compose herself. Once Lelyna was ready, Kayl opened the door of the carriage, and stepped out before turning around and placing his hand into hers, so that she could take his hand and step out with his help.

Once she stepped out, Kayl shut the door behind her, and like the gentleman that he was, he took up her hands in his, guiding them to his arm so that he could escort her. The carriage pulled away from them, its services finished for the night as Kayl led Lelyna up to the entryway of the grand hall's front court, guiding her up a few steps until she reached the top, on level ground with where Mihkail stood. Kayl smirked widely at Mihkail's face, he wasn't sure he'd ever actually seen that expression before. Chuckling lightly, he leaned in close to Lelyna. "He's staring..." Kayl said with a smirk, giving Lelyna an idea of what kind of expression Mihkail was having in reaction to seeing her. Once Mihkail managed to compose himself and start walking towards them, Kayl quickly turned his back to Mihkail, stepping in front of and facing Lelyna directly while returning her hands to her forefront. "He's coming this way, and so I leave you, I hope you have a great time at the Gala..." Kayl said as he let go of her hands and stepped aside before looking back up and over his shoulder at Mihkail with a devilish grin. Before Mihkail could say anything, Kayl brought his hand up and patted Mihkail on the shoulder, turning his gaze to meet his friends with a smile. He nodded at Mihkail without saying a word, and then stepped past them both, walking back down the steps and heading away from the great hall. As he walked on and out of view, he pulled the hood of his cloak up over his head, and smiled.

-- Prior to Entering the Event Area --

The first thing Lerato did upon stumbling back to his office was to write in his journal about his reflection about the explosion, as well as the feelings about the lesson that turned into something extemporaneous. After that, there was his practice for a few hours, having to eat something light in between, and finally, he had freshened up before having to dress up on that attire for the gala. In fact, he even carried his clarinet case since he wouldn't back down from his plan; it did suck that the incident occurred but he was hoping that the festive spirit would still remain. Indeed, it was now showtime for the musician himself as he left the office en route to the event venue itself.

-- Entering the Event Area --

Lerato would admit that it was a collaborative effort setting the place up for the huge event, and not even the weather would dampen the spirits of those who were there to have fun and socialize. His eyes were glancing at the table laden with food and it was no doubt that the aroma was tantalizingly good. Kayne and the other people responsible for the feast were also responsible for setting up the mood to eat in case people would go hungry, but that would wait till later. For now, he had to look for the others who had come there before he did. His shoes were echoing slightly as he continued walking until finally, he could see them and he have to give everyone a casual wave and a smile, sauntering as if he was eager to get the party started.

"Hello, everyone! I see that everyone is having a great time, looking all dashingly exquisite," he spoke, though his eyes lingered on Gannon for a few seconds; Elohari must have been coming by a bit later since she may be busy with something else at the moment. "Aiming to impress, huh? That outfit's definitely gonna make someone's heart race," he commented. The feeling of guilt started to claw out of his chest but he had to push it away.

                                          ---[Enter Fidal and Jesse]---

The Gala was already underway as the two shifters arrived. Many young men and women dressed in their finest could be seen mingling with one another. There was light music in the air, pleasing even to the sensitive ears of a shifter.

The young fox was leading a sharply dressed rabbit into the ballroom on her arm. Fidal made sure to look his best, having cleaned himself before hand and combing his hair back. Even his tail was neatly trimmed, though, it was usually neat anyways. He held his ears up in a show of pride as the gorgeous little fox led him.

Looking around, he noticed that Elijah had already shown up. Fidal admired his finely dressed friend and the man who held his attention. Elijah and Ezra made quite the handsome couple. He gave them a small wave before returning his attention to Jesse.

Leaning in slightly, he whispered to her. "Honestly, this is the first event like this I've been to." He gave her a nervous chuckle, hoping for her sake that tonight he wouldn't make a bad impression. He was a country raised bunny, and even though he was a trained butler, it was different than being a guest.

                • Seraphina made her way toward where the gala was being held. After her session with one of the students yesterday, something had occurred. It had everyone feeling a bit uneasy. She spent the majority of the day trying to keep away from the stress and focus more on reading up on her clients. She had gotten a report from Lerato not to mention word on the progress of his journal, which was great. She was glad that he had taken it upon himself to give it a chance. Hopefully it would help him out over time. Of course, if it didn’t, she was happy to give him more alternatives and have more meetings with him.

She wasn’t sure if she wanted to attend the gala or not. It wasn’t that she wasn’t one for events, she was. But the female hadn’t attended one in a while. Of course, her decision was made when she had gotten home earlier and looked at one of the dresses she had specifically for such special occasions. There wasn’t anything wrong with fixing yourself up and having a bit of fun, right? Perhaps she’d see a few familiar faces and get an opportunity to see how they were doing. Not finding any real reason not to attend, she got herself ready and left for the academy.

The advisor entered the ballroom, her blonde locks swaying behind her like a waterfall. She let her blue eyes scan her surroundings. Her lips pursed slightly as she admired everything, her eyes showing a bit of wonder. Everyone was dressed in such lovely attire and the décor of the huge event was beautiful. There were many people chatting and trying to greet those around them, getting into the mood of the party. Her gaze fell on Lerato as he addressed everyone. She could tell that he hadn’t arrived that much sooner than she did. Watching his behavior as he spoke, her eyes softened, knowing that he was probably feeling some way.

Seraphina approached the male as silently as she could and gave him a hug from behind. Giggling, she tilted her head to look at the much taller male. ”Well don’t you look handsome in your attire Mr. Sanchez. I trust you’ve been doing well. Not feeling too stressed out hopefully.” With a smile, she let go of the man and folded her arms over her chest. She glanced around the ballroom once again and let out a content sigh, ”Everything looks remarkable, I’m sure it will turn out to be a lovely night.”
