"This place is definitely different from my other school." Naomi looked around as she sat down. She had already taken a small tour of the grounds before she was lead to the auditorium. She noticed when she walked around the kids that were walking with their family. Unfortunately, she didn't have the same. Oh no, they weren't gone or anything like that. It was just that her father remained in the district, not going near the school, while her mother was still at home. She didn't have any ill will against her parents. Her father had his reason and her mother wasn't in the right condition to be traveling and walking around. She was due soon quite enough. Even when apart, she could feel their love from where she was. She smiled to herself before she looked at the little being tugging at her skirt.
Naomi looked down before she sat a Gothita into her lap. "Are you excited too, Benny?" The pokemon nodded its head in agreement. "Hey, wanna finish the book we were on the train?" Naomi dug into her bag, pulling out a book. Despite the clean cover, it still had the appearance of hours spent reading it. Benny looked at the words as Naomi read to herself. This was something that she did daily with her pokemon and the way that Gothita sat in her lap, turning the page when they were both finished gave away that it was a routine.

"They/ Them please"
The train ride had been uneventful for Sky. Their older brother had stuck around lamia until it was time for them to get on, wanting to sight see and getting drawn in by the spanish culture influence after being away from Quito for over two years. After the train came however Xavier had to leave and Sky had been left to their own devices. Rather than explore the district the newly arrived student had opted for heading straight to the train. The weather was far too hot to be meandering around the city as far as they were concerned. They had picked the thinnest shirt from their 'presentable' clothes ( as Sky had been raised to only wear their best clothes outside the house) and still the air conditioning was a relief and really the only acceptable temperature. Quito was a lot colder than this region, and Sky had been disappointed not to see a single mountain when arriving. Sky shook their head before the feeling of home sickness could grow. Now was not the the time to think of Quito. They had left home, and now that they were at the academy it was time to make something wonderful out of that. Looking around at the auditorium Sky chose a seat . The new students according to instructions, had to be seated in the middle area and so that's where Sky headed. Seeing another student reading with two pokemon Sky had never seen they gave a wave not wanting to interrupt but unable to keep from being friendly when there was no one else in the auditorium. "Hola" Sky said, before remembering to switch out of spanish for the rest of the sentence. "I like your pokemon!"
'Hm... Okay, this place is pretty cool...' That was his first impression of the area surprising himself. He was told the campus was big enough to get lost in and had great architecture but his source tended to be easily impressed hence his skepticism. 'Speaking of... Now where did she go?' He had walked partway with her to the auditorium only to be told that she had something to check on and to go ahead without him. After a fruitless once-over not finding who he was looking for, the long haired student had chosen to seat himself in the middle area designated for the new students. He didn't know what was going to happen raising his anticipation. Once he was comfortable he looked over the information given to him at the front of the school. He was told that once the opening ceremony was over he could pick up his Pokemon from the daycare center, wherever that was. He wasn't too worried about finding the place since there was only so much ground on this island to scour. He did also have someone to 'help' him out too.
Done with the double-checking of information, he was now looking around the new students. These people were to become his possible future classmates so it was a good idea to memorize some faces. Arceus forbid he mistakes the upperclassmen for a freshmen. His skin crawled as he remembered events from his last school. 'Calm down... They're not the same...' It didn't take him long to gain his bearings. It was in the past and he was reassured that the people here were kind. Looking around he noticed that some of the students already had Pokemon. He never had a Pokemon of his own always getting help from his parents' Pokemon so it was exciting to him that he'd finally have a Pokemon of his own. 'Well one step at a time...' he reminded himself. He still had the ceremony to attend after all. All he could do was excitedly wait for the ceremony to start.
Skylar yawned softly, as she made her way towards the auditorium. She had just arrived at the academy a few hours ago, and her aunt had wished her a good school year. Honestly her aunt worried about her so much, Skylar didn't know why she even needed to. Her aunt kept pestering her about telling her all the juicy details about the school year. Skylar told her about her experiences, but her aunt seemed rather unimpressed. She apparently meant that she wanted to know about the people she met and the friends she made. When Skylar mentioned that she didn't have friends and that the people she actually did know were annoying, her aunt gave her an hour lecture about friendships. Skylar proceeded to ignore the whole thing.
After finally saying her goodbyes, Skylar's aunt gifted her with a new bag as well as a new companion. It was apparently a pokemon that was only local in the Alola region. She had picked up the poor babe when she was on a business trip, and she didn't have anyone to care for her. Skylar had grown close with Saphera, to the point that the little fox didn't want to leave her side. Her aunt gave her Saphera as gift of goodwill. Skylar adored the adorable creature, and didn't say no to adopting Saphera as her own. They've been inseparable since. Even Ace has taken a liking to her, though Ven is still naughty most of the time...
Another sigh from Skylar drew Saphera's attention as the little pokemon in her arms stared upwards and mewed at her questionably. Skylar gave her a small smile "no worries little one, just bored already... maybe if we're lucky we won't run into them" she said, frowning. By them she was referring to a few students she had met last year. She didn't particular like them, in fact they were rather annoying. Rolling her eyes at thought, she slowly made her way into the auditorium. She still had a slight limp, but at least she wasn't on crutches anymore...
Her thoughts drifted towards her pen pals. Cielo was writing to her again, and they sounded better. Cielo told her about the horrible incident that had happened last year, and why they had stopped writing. Skylar found that she couldn't stay mad at Cielo, they had a very valid reason why they were silent for all those months. They hadn't betrayed her, and Skylar felt some guilt that she hadn't trusted Cielo more. They were apart of her family, that would never change. As much as Skylar hated friendships and the like... Cielo was different. Cielo was special.
As for Xing, her second pen-pal, they had stayed in touch with her. They were just as worried as Skylar was for Cielo. Skylar looked down at her bag, a key-chain swinging softly at her side. Her eyes softened at the sight of it, Cielo had made this once specifically for her. It was one of her most prized possessions. Apparently it was one of three key-chains that Cielo had made for the three of them. Xing, Cielo, and herself all had matching themed key-chains. Cielo had made them as an apology. Skylar's heart swelled at the thought that Cielo did care about them still and hadn't just betrayed them. She didn't know if her heart could take another betrayal. She thumbed the key-chain fondly, before making her way inside and returning to her icy self.

After taking a detour to get dressed into her uniform, Iris arrived into the audiotrium. She kept rubbing the back of her neck as her ponytails tickled the skin there. Actually she felt different in her uniform all around. It had been a only a few months but suddenly clothes wasn't fitting her like they use to. She was wearing her vest because shirt wasn't buttoned all the way and shorts because now her skirt was now above her kneecaps. She had no idea this was happening. For the time being, she shrugged it off. Despite the warerobe issues, she was actually giddy for the reason that she was wearing the uniform in the first place. She was going to help the new students for her house.
Walking down the aisle, she could see the designated location for the Flygon students but she didnt have to go there now. Instead, she did more looking around. So far, she could see new students talking to each other. In fact, the only familiar face she was seeing was Skylar's. Iris was about wave her hand when she stopped herself. Normally would be because of Skylar's usual reaction to her being a death glare. During the summer, it seemed to be that way when she bumped into the girl in Kalos. It was for Iris as much as it was for Skylar. Dare she say it, Iris made it through their encounter and possibly has Skylar hate her less. Maybe? Either way, Iris picked up on some cues and decided and wait and see if Skylar would'nt mind talking to her. It would make what she had to give to girl later on today much easier.
X⇒ LOCATION :Garden -> Auditorium (upper level, right side Salamence section) XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Cyril
Ichiro was glad to hear that Cyril did indeed plan to attend the opening ceremony. It was a mandatory assembly after all, though that didn’t mean a student couldn’t be truant. “Glad to hear it.” He answered the boy cheerfully, feeling somewhat relieved that the other didn’t seem to mind heading to the auditorium together. He had a good point. They were headed in the same way anyway so in highlight it was a bit of a silly question to ask. Ichiro was good for asking absentminded questions, not that it bothered him any. He was just glad to finally get a chance to talk to a fellow Salamence that he didn’t get the chance to speak to before. If anything, this was a good opportunity to better get to know Cyril.
Ichiro waited and watched as the other boy returned his Trapinch and his little metal friend to their poke balls. He still felt very curious about the two, but figured he’d inquire about them a little later once they got seated, assuming the other would sit beside him during the assembly. Ichiro was about to take off but then waited another moment for Cyril to put on his jacket. It was good he remembered, otherwise he might have showed up at the auditorium looking somewhat underdressed.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Arriving at the auditorium, Ichiro didn’t have to look at the coloured papers taped to the walls directing students on where to go. As a rep, he had already been given instructions on where to be thanks to an email which he had more than enough time to study in anticipation for the day. So right away he lead Cyril over to a set of stairs that would lead them to the upper levels of the auditorium. Since they were both Salamence students they were required to sit in the upper right side.
Once up the stairs, Ichiro began to make his way down the middle aisle heading towards the front on the right side before finding a seat in the second row. From where he had picked to sit, one could see nearly every seat that jutted out below. Glancing over the railing from where he stood , Ichiro quickly eyed the gathering students below, much of which didn’t have a school uniform yet. “Those must be all the first years.” He mused aloud before easing into his seat. He then looked towards Cyril, unsure if the boy was going to join him at first. “I know we didn’t get a chance to meet each other last year.” He began, sounding sincere. “But I’m hoping we can amend that this year.” Offering a warm smile, he figured he’d better introduced himself. He did want to better get to know Cyril, especially since he was the first person he recognized upon coming back. He had also heard rumour that not everyone was coming back this year, so it left him wondering if he’d still have any of his friends or not, or would have to make new ones. “My full name is Ichiro Sato, I’m from Ecruteak City, in the Johto Region. As you probably heard, I’m the owner of the Drama Club — though I hope to also be able to join some other clubs this year.” He explained. “I’m really looking forward to checking out what new clubs people make this year. Have you joined any clubs last year?” He then asked, feeling curious and also wondering what sort of things Cyril liked. He seemed like a pretty cool and mysterious student. Probably one that was more into battling and such, or at least that was Ichiro’s guess. “I know this might sound kinda random, but I think you have some pretty cool Pokemon — especially that little metal guy I saw tailing you earlier. They might do well in coordination if you go after their tough or cool qualities in a competition.” Ichiro wasn’t sure if Cyril was into coordination or performances with pokemon, but he honestly thought Cyril’s pokemon might be able to do well in that sort of thing. “Where are you from, Cyril? If you don’t mind me asking.” He then decided to ask, feeling more curious. He knew he was jumping from topic to topic and probably needed to slow down. He just couldn’t help himself.

Naomi was finishing up a chapter with Gothita and Ralts in her lap when they were suprised by the person who approached them. They greeted her in Spanish before saying that they liked her pokemon. Naomi kept the book open for Viola and Benny as she stared at the person. Looking at them and around, they weren't alone anymore. Naomi just tilted her head before finally responding to the compliment.
"Thank you." Naomi, her tone thankful but not sure if this wasn't to be a one-liner comment or an icebreaker. She liked the scene in her book better. "I guess you have pokemon of your own..." Naomi gave into the icebreaker idea and decided to continue the conversation and see where it goes. "Nice....weather we're having right?"
◦ WHEN :: ??? - Year 2 Opening Ceremony ◦ WHERE :: Campus Station > Auditorium[Upper left side, Charizard Area] ◦ WITH WHO :: Jacques > Alone ◦ WEARING :: Crumpled and messily worn Charizard House Ordell Uniform ◦ MOOD :: Tired, Excited but a little on edge
tab The ride to Ordell had been a restless one to say the least. It wasn't like it was anything new though; the sleepless nights seemed to be getting worse the closer the day of her return came. Why though? She was excited to be able to see her friends again, even though she texted Marcus and saw Jung and Marco during vacation. Not to mention that she was now going to be attending with school with Jacky too! Even weirder was that it always felt like the same dream every time. Attack. Pain. Betrayal. Ordell. Rinse and repeat for the past few weeks. Worse yet it always felt so real... The nightmares had subsided during vacation only to come crawling back into her sleep before school started, much to her annoyance. It also didn't help that she'd been feeling more and more tired overall... But that had to be due to the lack of sleep, right? "Welp... Can't do anything 'bout it now!" The girl repeated her thoughts out loud, as if to convince herself that everything was fine now, After a good stretch of her weary muscles, the eager Charizard student left the train station with a forced skip to her step. She really couldn't do anything about it and in the back of her mind a nagging seed of uneasiness and doubt was quickly growing. While thinking that this problem was now supposedly behind her, the girl made her way to campus in a mad dash.
tab Arriving on campus grounds with a sense of excitement, her eyes couldn't help but drift around the scenery. Yup, it looked just as awesome as it did the first time she came here. Wait, no! It looked even better! Maybe it was the nostalgia goggles? She wouldn't be able to tell either way! As her eyes continued to scan the area trying to spot possible differences from the last time she was here, they ultimately locked on a familiar head of hair. "Heyo! Sorry 'bout being late this mornin'! Sleep got tha betta of me, haha!" she told the hazel-eyed Jacques apologetically while rubbing the back of her head. Okay... TECHNICALLY it was more of an attempt at sleeping more than anything, but she'd omit that little detail in hopes of saving him from needlessly worry. He tended to worry in excess after all. All of a sudden she started feeling a strong pang of pain pounding her head, something akin to what she had been feeling before. Not wanting to worry the already seemingly nervous boy, she had to think quick so that he wouldn't notice. "AH! Totes forgot that I had to do some Charizard House stuff! The auditorium is just down there, so I'll catch up ta ya soon! See ya!" Tera said as she pointed in the right direction before clumsily speeding off in the opposite way, not turning back to find out if he bought her bluff or if he was following her for that matter. Finding a bench nearby, Tera tiredly sat down, relieved that he didn't decide to tail her. "I'm okay... I'm okay!" she chanted in murmurs and hands rubbing her arms in comfort as the headache slowly dissipated. When it was finally gone, she let out an annoyed sigh. Sure, she's been having headaches every now and again but since when did it hurt this much! After taking a few more minutes to make sure that she was okay to move, the girl continued her walk to the ceremony area as if the pain had ever happened.
tab Once in the auditorium, Tera's eagle eyes once again scanned her surroundings to find her bespectacled black-haired childhood friend. "Oiiii, Jacky-chi! Ther' ya are!" she shouted from across the auditorium while excitedly waving her hands to get his attention(if she didn't have it already) before making her way over to him. "Since we gotta sit at different places I'll meecha at the back of the auditorium when the ceremony's finished, 'kay?" It did suck a little that they couldn't pick their seats like last year, but the school had to have a reason for it. Once they were done talking, the girl walked over the the upper left side of the auditorium, the place designated to those placed in the Charizard House. While she did see a few familiar faces in the other houses, she didn't see any in her own, making her wonder where everybody was. There wasn't much, if anything at all, for her to do before the ceremony started, so she decided to take to her PokeGear to kill time! She wasn't exactly what one would call 'good' at using the device, but with her sister's help she at least got a better wrap around understanding the darn thing. Looking over her messages, it seemed that she missed a few, namely Jacques asking where she was and Marcus asking if she was there yet. As she started thinking up some responses, her clumsy thumbs slowly went to work.
@Marcus: Yup yup yup! I'm @ d auditorium now!!! How 'bout u? :3 @Marco: Heyo Marco! I'm @ d auditorium now!!! Charizard place is sooo empty ;x; @Jacques: Jackyyy!!!! I'm bored!!!!! ;x; @Jung: Yoo! I'm @ d auditorium! Wer r u?
'Maan I hope they come soon...' Her feet dangling off the seat due to small stature started swaying, wondering who'd be the first to come and who'd be the first to reply(if any of them would want to reply to her antics that is).

Wearing: Uniform Feeling: Nervous? Excited? Where's left at Send Help. Company: Pokemon out : Phillip the ducklett/Squeeze the ekans.
Marcus jogged in relieved to see he wasn't actually late to the event. He had actually missed his train, having been able to barely wave at Iris before the doors locked down and he was forced to wait for the next train out of lamia. Behind him, Phillip waddled giving him a somewhat reproachful 'lett' at having to go at a faster pace. Marcus smiled apologetically at his pokemon before digging around for some pokeblock snacks and tossing him a few. On his shoulders, Squeeze lifted her head when the pokeblocks were taking out and Marcus gave her one too. Looking around, he took out his poke-gear to read the announcement that would tell him where to seat, smiling when he noticed Tera had answered. Taking out his phone he took a picture of himself at the auditorium and sent it to Tera to answer her question as to where he was. The announcement said Kingdras had to sit in the bottom left...left..right left...left that was..which way again?. Marcus held up both hands in front of him trying to figure out where the L was-and on the heels of that where left was which would tell him where his seating was. The both look like Ls tho! He walked to one side of the auditorium ( unknown to him the right side) before looking down at his gear again...left...and charizards were on the top left. Okay so all he had to do was find the charizards and go down from there right? Going up the steps Marcus noted no one was on the top of this side....and since Tera was supposedly at the auditorium he concluded this had to be the right side. With Phillip at his heels Marcus made his way across the back of the chairs before he was finally on the opposite side...the left side. Aw yea, made it. He walked down a few seats before spotting Tera. Figuring he had time before he had to take his seat and ( since the announcement hadn't started yet and not everyone was in their seats) and since he now knew where he was sitting ( he was in the top left, so he just had to go down a few seats to go to his section) Marcus plopped down next to his Charizard friend. "Hey Ter" he said smiling, taking in her appearance but opting to not comment on it "how was your break?"

"They/ Them please"
Sky looked up, smiling when the other student seemed to be open to talk. They hadn't wanted to push but had secretly wished that a conversation would start. Sky was an extrovert to the core and thoroughly preferred social interaction to any kind of solo activity. "Yes I've two" they said reaching down to show the other student their pokeballs "I just...do not have them out a lot. Azabache, he's my ponyta, I've had him since I was very small" They hoped their accent wasn't showing too much when they spoke, taking care to speak properly and not to rush their words "he would not....do too well in the auditorium" Azabache would probably run all around and set things on fire with his mane. Sky missed the pokemon already but they could always take him out for a walk after the assembly. Sky shrugged when asked about the weather, they personally could do with a bit less heat. "The place I am from is much more cold" Quito was right by the mountains and so usually was cold even in the summer compared to what they'd seen of the Evren region. "but aside from that it is very nice" Sky then realized they hadn't introduced themselves with some chagrin ( it their parents were here they would be appalled as that was supposed to be the very first thing one did) "My name is Sky by the way. It is a pleasure to meet you" they said noting the girl also wasn't wearing a uniform "are you a new student too?"

"Let's enjoy ourselves to the fullest, without any regret."
It was both a nervous and exciting journey on the train to Ordell. Her parents were quite fussy about it, rechecking her luggage a few times to ensure that she had everything. It was tiring to confirm every little thing, but she was happy to do so, as it would bring relief for her and her parents. After all, this was the first time she exactly travelled far away from home. Everything was new, so she should make the most of it!
She wondered who she would meet, what kind of friends she could make? Will everyone like her? Such thoughts floated around her little mind, increasing her anticipation for the upcoming event. Poking her head in first, she looked in amazement at the size of the Auditorium. "Hoo boy, that's huge!"
After checking that nothing dangerous would jump out at her (obviously not), she swiftly walked in the place and started her area inspection. Examining every small little thing, she had successfully concluded that there may be the place was divided into 4 place? Uh, 5? Hmmm. Anyway, she did find out the place she should be sitting at when the event started later on. For now though, it was time to socialize. It appeared that many had come earlier. Hmm, that's plenty of people to talk to, who to choose....

𝐌𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐮 ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Mokihana slowly lurched forward at a snail's pace inside of the auditorium from outside. Her journey here had been an exciting one to say the very least. Her disability made it fairly difficult to traverse anywhere alone, and that nice employee who by some stroke of luck was heading to Ordell as well had helped her. They sat on the same train seat together and he helped her get on and off as Mahina slept peacefully in her arms. While Cleffa was almost always out to act as her guide, Mokihana didn't want to force the poor thing to break its schedule. They did wake up quite early to get here by this time. Although she got a few minutes of sleep during the train ride but then quickly awoke as they were arriving at the town. A short ride to the academy later and off Hana was. The staff member offer to help her towards the auditorium to which Hana sort of...declined. In hindsight this was probably not one of her greatest ideas. Ever since she had slowly made her way over to the area where new students were supposed to be. The child continued forward until she came into contact with a fleshy wall. The impact sent her back and onto the ground with a thud.
"Ohmigosh! I'm so sorry!" Hana said, flailing around to pick herself up and then slowly rising back to her feet. Her head craned around, catching fleeting streaks of light and such as her hands came forward to feel around for whoever she bumped into. It took some time but soon Hana's hands met with Shiria's shoulder. "I didn't see you there, sorry!"

Inside, the place is packed full from his vantage point. Hundreds of people talking all at once turned their words illegible and trying to find people in here would be a taxing task. He was glad he didn't have anyone he needed to locate. As it was, Cyril followed Ichiro to upper floor where they headed straight for seats reserved for Salamance House. Ichiro picked the front seat where beyond the railing and below was where unsorted students would be.
He didn't have to sit right next to Ichiro, but it would be rude to just up and left, so he stayed since he didn't have anything better to do anyway. 'Isn't that sad,' his thought strayed toward his silent pokegear. A flash of disappointment came and left as fast. They were just busy, he argued and put it away from his mind. He too had a company of his own. Sure enough that Ichiro engaged him in conversation. Cyril expected that, knowing full well what would come from accepting Ichiro's invitation to come along. Starting it off with an official introduction was odd. He supposed, an official introduction would straighten whatever mistaken information he had. "I am Cyril Frisch. Cyril being my first name and my preference," He introduced himself in return. "How do you want me to address you as? first name or last name?" Different culture is troublesome like that. He tended to call people by their first name, until his time in Ordell taught him that he needed to ask lest he offends people.
He silently amended Ichiro's club name Drama Club when Ichiro mentioned his club, then asked him if he was in any. "I do. A pokemon fight club," the club had silly rule of not talking about the club itself which was odd and he wasn't sure whether it was a joke or not. How are they going to get any new member if their member cannot promote the club? "it is mostly a place to find people to battle and gain experience." He kept it brief in the end. The topic of club remind him of one club he had been looking for, but didn't find. "I wish there is a place where student can cook in. I tried to look it up, but I haven't any that I might have to make my own club for it," he mused out loud. He had his doubt that he would go through with it, however. "Any chance you might know anyone that plan to make one?" he inquired. From his impression, Ichiro would be a good person to ask due to how sociable he seemed to be. People like that often know more regarding what people are up to, in contrast with himself who would be so out of the loop that he would miss on stuff until it hit him in the face. it wasn't a surprise that Ichiro was made house representative because of his personality
Their conversation continued, until Ichiro complimented his Pokémon. "He is an Aron," Cyril helpfully supplied. "I am more comfortable being an audience than a performer. It's not that I dislike it... I enjoy watching them, but I know I won't be pursuing that line of career." Even if a few of their trick might piqued his interest enough to attempt, he felt that it simply isn't for him. "Is coordination what you aimed for?" He asked in return, since Ichiro is obviously interested in it. His drama club attest that Ichiro wasn't unfamiliar with performing on stage and it is not unheard of to combine coordination with acting.
Another switch of question came out of nowhere. It was sudden, but known. This conversation had been changing in content so far. Cyril didn't mind it so much as an awkward silence was worse. "Where you say? I am from Icirrus City. It is in Unova region. Quite far from Johto," he replied, unsure where Ichiro was going with this particular question.

"Let's enjoy ourselves to the fullest, without any regret."
Eenie, miniee, mo-Woa! Having difficulty in choosing who to start up a conversation with, Shiria decided to test random by counting, but it was cut off when someone bumped into her. It was a soft bump, but she could have met the cold floor if she had not managed to hold on a railing nearby. However, the other person did not seem to have the same luck and the sound of hitting the floor was clear where she was. "Woa! Sorry! Are you alright?"
"It's alright, I wasn't looking too, so it's also kinda my fault a little." She hurriedly offered her hand to help, but her shoulder was held instead. Blinking curiously at the girl's gesture, she suddenly felt that it felt a bit strange. When her eyes briefly flickered through the girl's eyes though, she may understand a little, but she was not sure whether her guess was correct. There was a brief hesitation of deciding whether to ask or not before she dropped it and gave the girl a bright smile. After all, it was strange to ask such a thing to someone you've just met. Therefore, they should start by introducing themselves! "Anyway, I'm Shiria, nice to meet you!"
