I'm saving up for another Gift of the Goddess for another dream avatar of mine. Here's my progress: If you can spare anything, that's nice. If not, I'm active enough that I can earn it myself. This is just so I can keep people updated if they care and post in my own thread with updates on the quest so I can get gold to put towards my quest. It's like meta-questing.... Discuss! Rayya THANK YOU TO:Ravenlady13, who's awesomeness knows no bounds

so here's what I did. I got bored and decided to try an economic experiment. I really honestly don;t NEED to have this item to survive, so I can afford to mess up and have to wait longer. so...
I bought an August letter. I intend to wait until the price for either the letter or what it contains is highest, sell it at profit, and THEN have enough money to get my Gift of the Goddess. Or I might keep it and try to recoup my losses.
I noticed that the prices for a few things tend to drop significantly whenever a new item is released. I intend to see if my observation of last month holds true this month.
as always, any help is appreciated, but if you can't, no worries. Have any of you noticed the price drop like I have?

even after buying the 10,000g letter, I am now back up to 5,500g. At this rate I may buy the item AND keep the letter, depending...
any advice?

I think you should sell the August letter for as much as you can get and buy the Gift of the Goddess. Sorry If I offended you in the other thread.

eh, I rarely truly get offended at anything anymore... a little annoyed now and again, but apology taken. I also hope I didn't offend you.
When the item is released the cost will be higher than the cost of the letter right now, so I'm holding on for another couple of days... then I'll get the gift and be happy for a while..

Well, thats good. And nope, I was offended either. Or at least not by you. I forgot that the letter comes out tomorrow, I hope its a weapon. I might buy one and sell it to buy a guild. Depends.

Its going to be partly based on the battle system when it comes out, and a slight rp. I dont even know if im still going to make it.

I'm not familiar with the battle system at all, do you mean the one on Gaia? If so, I'll have to go look it up.
I'm keeping my letter, quest-wise, and just collecting more money... I like the tome....

I like the tome too. I mean, getting a raven perching on me? How fitting would that be? You know, in some cultures, the Raven is called the Deathbird, because they feed on carrion. Some people also see them as evil omens. Like in Poe's "The Raven"

Like in Poe's "The Raven" well, the Morrigan was goddess of death and war and sadness and stuff like that in Celtic mythology... her symbol/form thing was a raven.
