Feel free to move this. I have no idea where it actually belongs. (PPC thought this should be stickied)

Charizard!
![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.](https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/s.gif) Description: Charizard is the evolved form of Charmeleon, who is the evolved form of Charmander.
Charizard possess a strong innate sense of honor, relying on only claws and strength to hunt or ward off lesser foes and using their flaming breath only against opponents whom they would consider equals. Additionally, the Pokedex states that the power of their flame attacks is volatile enough that accidental or careless use can cause forest fires and other disasters.
In the show: Charizard is arguably the main character Ash Ketchum's strongest Pokémon surpassing both Pikachu and Sceptile. Ash's Charizard started out as a Charmander which had been abandoned by another trainer. As the series continued, Charmander became loyal to Ash, then evolved into a Charmeleon. Charmeleon refused to obey him, which within the world of the franchise is something that Pokémon who become "stronger" and more experienced than their trainers sometimes do when they lose their respect for their trainer. Charmeleon evolved when Ash summoned it for protection from a wild Aerodactyl which intended to devour him. Ash was ultimately saved by Charizard, but it remained unclear in the series whether Charmeleon evolved to rescue Ash or just to fight Aerodactyl, which had injured it. Charizard did purposefully swoop down to catch Ash as he fell, however.

Stradegy: One of the most common usage of Charizard would have to be this:
Charizard @ Salac Berry
-Belly Drum -Earthquake -Fire Punch -Substitute/Iron Tail/Dragon Claw
This Charizard obviously takes advantage of it's egg move "Belly Drum." Belly Drum will cut Charizard's HP by half, but gives it maximum attack (+6). The idea is to substitute on Pokemon switching in, or if you choose on a third attack to Belly Drum at your first oppertunity. If you substitute Charizard's ability "Blaze will kick in and give you 1.5x on Fire Punch or any other fire attack. Charizard's berry will also activate giving it a speed boost. Now just sweep away. 4laugh
The other common Charizard set is:
Charizard @ Choice Specs -Flamethrower -Dragon Pulse -Focus Blast -Air Slash / HP Electric
The idea is very much self explanatory. Choose a +Speed nature, preferably Timid and sweep away. Also, Overheat can replace Flamethrower if you desire but I reccomend flamethrower. Charizard is not all that great at switching in and out.

SpecsLass!
Froslass @ Choice Specs Timid 252 Spd/252 S. Atk/ 6 HP
-Thunderbolt -Icebeam -Shadow Ball -Psychic
This is quite obviously, by far the most effective and useful moveset for Froslass. She has quite the speed stat and a decent Sp. Atk stat. BoltBeam is for great coverage, Shadow Ball for the other stab and Psychic is mainly for a Heracross. The best way to use this set is as a revenge killer, in other words, when your opponent faints your pokemon, just switch your ol' Lass in there and BoltBeam it's a**.
Counter: It's not hard, to any extent, to kill a Froslass. Any fast dark type, especially Weavile can destroy her. Special walls will render Froslass useless, a Snorelax with Crunch especially. Any fire type also, especially Infernape, who can outspeed her sometimes, and Heatran.

This weeks POTW is Breloom!
![User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.](https://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/s.gif)
Pokedex Entry: Its short arms stretch when it throws punches. Its technique is equal to that of pro boxers.

Sub/spore puncher!
Breloom @ Toxic Orb Adamant 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
-Spore -Focus Punch -Substitute/Stone Edge -Seed Bomb
Alright, a crazy attack stat and the greatest move in the game makes Breloom the most usefull Sub or spore puncher in the game. On your first move you should either spore or sub. If you are faster, spore. If you are slowe, absorb the hit and sub. If you spored, your opponent will either switch out or stay in hoping to wake up (33% chance). Either way your focus punch will get through. If you sub'd your opponant will attack you and your sub will absorb the attack and a focus punch wil get through. Stone Edge is a possibility instead of substitute. Just beware of the sleep clause. Seed bomb is for STAB. Toxic Orb is for Breloom's ability Poison Heal.
SubSeeder Breloom @ Toxic Orb Adamant 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
-Substitute -Leech Seed -Focus Punch -Spore / Stone Edge / Seed Bomb
Alright, since I know NOTHING about subseeding and have never used anything that seeds, I stole smogon's set and description.
Quote: This was a very effective set in the previous generation and his new Poison Heal ability provides a nice boost. Hit your opponent with Leech Seed and use Substitute to avoid damage, while recovering your HP and sapping theirs. This can frequently cause your opponent to switch out, giving Breloom the chance to unleash his massively powerful Focus Punch. To take advantage of the possible switches caused by this set, Stealth Rock support is very helpful here, particularly as Flying types are often switched into Breloom. Spore provides a chance to get the Sub Seeding strategy going. If you wish to have greater type coverage, you can opt for Stone Edge to hit Flying types, or Seed Bomb to take advantage of his secondary STAB. You can also use Stun Spore here, which will make Sub Seeding easier to pull off.
Dancing Breloom
Breloom @ Poison Orb Adamant 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
-Swords Dance/Bulk Up -Focus Punch/Mach Punch/Sky Uppercut -Seed Bomb -Stone Edge
Alright, a very risky set that requires a good amount of prediction. Basically when your opponany ssees your Breloom they are thinking "lol spore" So they will switch out to a status absorber or take the turn to set up. This gives you a oppurtunity to raise your attack stat EVEN HIGHER. Swords Dance raises attack by two stages and Bulk Up raises your attack by one stage and your defense by another. This is up to you, but I reccomend Bulk up to increase your survivability by a bit. Use Focus Punch if you are good at predicting, and mach punch or sky uppercut is up to you. I prefer Mach Punch though, especially if you swords dance. Seed Bomb for STAB and Stone Edge for flying types that will try and switch into you.
Counter: WEEZING, WEEZING, WEEZING. He laughs at your Focus Punch and Seed Bomb. Stone Edge is neutral on him. He is often hiding Sludge Bomb or Flamethrower. BEWARE... D:
Ghost types can switch into your focus punch and Will-o-Wisp you, and Slowbro can easily absorb and slack off your focus punch. Also beware the status absorber. Snorelax and Blissey usually do this, but you have a stab'd focus punch to take of them.
