ArmasTermin Lord Plate There've been a lot of improvements between the Mk2 and the Mk3. And quite frankly, the Mk3 Hunter is the higher end version. I expect it to work consistently. I would sooner buy the Browning Buck Mark. Basically the same thing but cheaper. Or the P22 because I think it looks cool and has the tactical rail.
The Hunter has a weaver rail, but it's not like I'll ever mount a scope on it. I can get 5 rounds through the same hole with the damn thing at 100 feet, I don't need any optics. XD
I've tried the Buckmark, too, and ultimately of all the .22's I've used... I like the Mark III 22/45 Hunter. I ended up with the regular Mk3 Hunter simply because the 22/45 version is more expensive. And it's only superior in its general feel.

kind of like anyone who puts more than 4 bumper stickers on their car
