'Two years ago I had just been a ordinary, boring, lame, human being... then I moved to Forks, Washington to live with my father Charlie. It was on the first day at my new high school that I had met Edward Cullens and...

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him --
and I didn't know how dominant that part might be --
that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably
in love with him.

I knew we were both in mortal danger.
Still, in that instant, I felt well. Whole.
I could feel my heart racing in my chest,
the blood pulsing hot and fast though my veins again.
My lungs filled deep with the sweet scent that came off his skin.
It was like there had never been any hole in my chest.
I was perfect--not healed, but as if
there had enver been a wound in the first place.

"BELLA?"

Edward's soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, just like he had in the parking lot, and kissed me again.

This kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine—like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us.

That's how it was. This is how it is. College, vampires, werewolves... and the occasionally trip or two. What I didn't know what that I was only to be in more mortal danger, as soon as I stepped out of my house. Oh rainy town of Forks, how could you decieve me as such?

Sample Post: I wonder where Edward is. I thought, looking around my room for his presence. I looked towards my bed and saw a white note lying on my pillow. Bella, I had to go hunting. If there's anything you need, call Alice, she's still at the house. Edward. It read in Edward's neat calligraphy. I read it to myself again. He left without telling me first? How could he do this? Tucking the note in my back pocket, I walked downstairs and headed for the phone. "I'm probably going to the Cullens' place, Dad," I yelled out as I reached the phone. I dialed the number and waited for Alice to pick up. When she did, I told her I was coming over. I headed out the door and into my truck. It roared to life as I turned the key. I pulled out of the driveway and out onto the road.

Bella searched the town for Edward but could find hide nor hair of him. She went back home, feeling utterly defeated. She got her keys and started up her truck. It roared to life loudly. She pulled out of her driveway and down the street. She steadily got closer and closer to the Cullens' house. She turned off her truck, expecting Alice to be outside the door, waiting for her. She got out of the truck and slammed the door, then began walking towards the front porch.

Bella searched the town for Edward but could find hide nor hair of him. She went back home, feeling utterly defeated. She got her keys and started up her truck. It roared to life loudly. She pulled out of her driveway and down the street. She steadily got closer and closer to the Cullens' house. She turned off her truck, expecting Alice to be outside the door, waiting for her. She got out of the truck and slammed the door, then began walking towards the front porch.

Lelith had just finished arranging the furniture in the living room when she heard the soft click of the front door opening, then closing. She started to turn almost immediately, but her husband was too quick for her. "Hello. How was your day?" Arthur asked, as he put his arms around her neck to draw her closer. "Mmm? Oh, fine, I suppose." Lelith sighed contentedly at Art's touch. "The house isn't too big? I noticed you only got through with three rooms so far today." "I doubt we'll ever use all the rooms - and the price you paid was really so extravagant - but I like it; this could definitely be a home for us." Lelith replied. She reached back to pull Arthur's face closer to her own. "How goes your business in town?" Her lips were so close, and Art tried to kiss them instead of answering the question. Lelith stopped him with a gentle finger. "Did you meet any other vampires in town?"
