In Sims 2 I this couple who are in love and I was planning to move them in together. The next time I played, when I invited the Sim over, I could not select her to interact with her. No one in the house could. So I moved them out into a new house and combined her into their household. I have the same problem: no one can select her to interact with her. They will interact with her based on freewill and she can select anyone else.
Does anyone have a clue what happened here and if there is a fix?

I know that I have had a similar problem in the past but can't think how I solved it. All I can think of at the moment would be to turn on debug mode (boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true) and then force an error on the Sim by shift clicking and choosing Force Error. When the dialogue box appears select Reset and see if that helps. Whatever you do, DON'T click on Delete as this can cause problems.
