I still don't get it, what's suppose to happen if they free calipso? why does barbosa wants to free her so bad?!? it has something to do with the fight among davy jones's crew and theirs. I think. pirate

It can get confusing if you don't play close attention. I believe they were trying to free Calypso in hopes that she would help combat Beckett's fleet.
P.S. You didn't really have to make a whole topic to get that one question answered, you could've just posted in the sticky. sweatdrop
