Chozi giggled as he swatted at a lazy fly buzzing around him. "Shoo!" He yelped at it, but all in good nature. He didn't mind it so much, as long as it didn't land on him because it tickled very much!
His tail flicked and his paw swiped at the sand in front of him, he was trying to dig up interesting things. Sitting in the little tuft at the end of his tail was a spiraled shell, a pretty color and it matched his sister's almost exactly. He was quite pleased to match her, it made him feel happy and closer to her than he normally felt.

The young cub had been born on the borders and into a rather dramatic scene though she didn't know this. She hadn't a clue who her father was and nor was she really bothered, her mother was about when she needed her and she had many siblings, too many siblings in fact! She loved having the attention poured out on her just because it meant she was loved!
She moved into the lands a little and looked about, there must be someone here to get some sort of attention from and then she saw him.
"Hey!"
She trotted over to him, holding herself to make her look a little taller then she really was. She really craved the attention!

Chozi's eyes landed on the dark little cub and instantly lit up. Someone not related! And she was beautiful (he was relating her color to the only females he knew; his mother, his sister) and new! "Hi there!" He purred.
And look! Green! On her tail... and on her face... what interesting markings. "Are you from this pride?" He chirped, excited by the thought. His tail flicked and he moved toward her. He was rather small for his age, but bigger than her still. "My name is Chozi! What's yours?"

She was very happy with the welcome he gave her and her face lit up happily!
"No I am not from the pride though I think mother wants us to join at some point, I don't know though and I don't really care!" She giggled and looked at him again, such interesting colours.
"I am Phusa!" She smiled happily looking around the lands to see if there was anyone else she could drag in to give her attention. She didn't mind not having the attention but it was nice once in a while to get some, ok that wasn't true she craved attention.
"Do you live around here?" She was curious after all if he did she could call on him whenever she wanted some attention, if he was nice that was. She didn't want attention from bad or ugly lions.

It made him extremely pleased when she looked so happy, it meant he was being a good friend! Oh, she didn't care about where her family wanted to live?
"Phusa!" He chirped, forgetting momentarily about living spots as he tried out her name, it was fun to say. "Yes I live around here too with two brothers and a sister and my mom and dad and... my grandpa." He had a big family in this area, actually. And it was very nice for him! "But my parents want to join the pride too! Isn't that neat, both of our families?"

"You have a big family. I don't want a big family." Well to be honest she wouldn't care as long as she got the attention!
"Chozi, were you born here?" She was curious, if he had always lived here then he could show her around so then she would have one up over her siblings as she would know the area better. It was only a chance but she could hope right? She was really a little mean but she didn't care, she just wanted the attention!

He beamed at her. "Do you have brothers and sisters too Phusa?" He didn't mind how bratty she was being, didn't notice it really. He had too good of a heart and his sister was a lot worse than this, but he never noticed that either.
He nodded slowly. "Yes, born here." He confirmed. Why, wasn't she?

She looked at him strangely. Did he think she was?
"No not really, we were born not far from here and I have three brothers and two sisters. Big family. Though I haven't met any like cousins or anything!" She was happy about that as well because the lower the amount of others around the more attention she got. Oh she was a brat!
"So is there anything interesting to do around here?"
