how do you get the headbands? and can you get bands for other villages other then leaf?

You're talking about the real, steel-plated headbands, correct? Well, i guess you can get them anywhere that sells them, i'm not sure how to buy them online though. I buy mine from either Powergamer or Pandora's Cube, they're anime/video game stores near where i live.
The headbands that i know are out so far are: Leaf, Sand, Mist, and Sound. My friend ordered a special Itachi headband from a certain place for Otakon this year.

Your best bet in real life is either EBay, some type of store, online or otherwise, that specializes in cosplay items or anime memorobilia, or check out your local anime convention. ^^ Or, you could always make your own. That's always fun.
