i though i would start a thread to discuss our favorite films and such, vampire related or not is ok i suppose but at least do the courtesy of mentioning your favorite vampire flick, even if ifs just 1931's Dracula with Bela Lugosi. (i think its 1931 but not off the op of my head)

i suppose i shall start by saying my favorite vampire movie was From Dusk Till Dawn, because you totally weren't expecting it to be a vampire movie! it start off like a regular action movie and then BAM! and who couldnt love Selma Hayak's snake holding strip tease?

my second favorite is still Queen of the Damned, mostly because of the music and Stuart Townsend being eye candy. and in no particular order here are my top favorites of all time (yes i realize they are mostly horror but Im a horror junkie and more are being added to my list all the time smile

Erm, I'm not much of a movie person, but I really like FFVII: Advent Children, the Bourne movies, The Italian Job, and an old favorite- The Secret of NIMH.

I'm more into books than movies, though I do watch quite a few movies. I usually just rent them. My favorite vampire movie is Moon Child, and my favorite movie in general is Iron Ladies, despite the fact that what I most want out of a movie is blood and violence. I also like Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, A Tale of Two Sisters, House of 1000 Corpses, and many others that I've already forgotten.
I liked Stephen King's It when I watched it, but I was six at the time. I've read the book since then, so I probably wouldn't like it now. I have the same problem with Pet Cemetary and Interview with the Vampire. I've read many of Anne Rice's vampire books, but I can't watch the movies.
I recently watched Shutter, and that was nice. Darna Mana Hai was good. I'm watching Rampo Noir right now, and it's not bad. Oh, I loved Creepshow when I was little. This list would be longer if I had a memory.
Edited to add: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Hannibal! Silence of the Lambs! Poltergeist! The Shining! 13 Ghosts! Stephen King's Cat's Eye! The Langoliers! I love that one! I wonder where I put it. Or the VCR, for that matter. I still like a few movies based on books.

I did, and it was decent.
I really liked how the vampires were portrayed as heartless killers, without redeeming qualities.
It was a nice change from most vampire movies.

As for my favorite movies, I have a list in my profile but it sadly needs updated.

I love Bourne Supremecy, and Ultimatum, though I didn't really care for the first one.
It started off too slow and I didn't like Marie.

And Vanilla Sky is confusing/interesting/shocking.
