Okay my ex broke up with me and I'm pretty sure he wants me back because from what I have heard he is telling everyone he has a plan to get me back. I told him I don't want him back. I do care for him still and worry about him but I don't love him anymore and I've moved on.
You wanted to end it, no longer go on.
I said okay, hung up, and moved on.
You're still clinging to the past.
We both knew it wouldn't last.
I was your longest and you were mine.
All looked great and happy and fine,
But on the inside it was breaking down.
I knew what would happen and didn't make a sound.
I care and worry for you still,
But you broke it on your free will.

How very sweet of you to still care for him. I say that though you may not want to be his girlfriend again, tell him that you want to be his friend, nothing more and nithing less. Your poem was lovely, and I suggest that you show it to him, if you haven't already done so.
