Mana had finished her time of being free, alone. Now she would reutrn on her word to Tawa'di, to help him with his wish. To help guarantee the growth and saftey of the Ela'wadiyi. While she originally said she would only be here for perhaps a little while, she knew in her heart that bearing children would force her to stay longer, much longer. The love that she would feel would keep her tied down, even though she was Wind.

Her pale gold paws tapped onto the ground gently, her wings long since hidden. She was not hiding the face that she was a goddess from Tawa'di, but for the initial reentering, she felt it a bit safer to keep her wings and ribbons hidden. Her jewelry was still shining brightly on her chest, as well as her dreamcatcher off of her ear.

She was stepping towards the Star Grove, where she had promised to meet Tawa'di. Would he be there? Was she too late? It had been over their time promised, and she hoped that he was still well, and willing. A piece of her prayed for this, as she loved children and the cloud people that were always so kind to all.

Tawa'di had been moving back and forth from the Star Grove for some time now. It had passed their meeting time, with the Wind Goddess, but he still felt that she would return, one day.

A few days after the Goddess' return, he felt the urge to go back to the Star Grove, though. His old paws carried him the way there, though with his current duties getting to be a bit bigger than they once were, and it took him two days to make it there.

Inside, he discovered that Mana was indeed there. His eyes lit up at the hope, and promise kept between them.

"Mdhamana..."

Mana did her best to not laugh at her friend. What, just because she was a little late she would not be good on her promise? Silly Tawa'di, she was sure that he would of remembered taht she never let go of a promise.

Granted, she would not tell him how she had waited days for him to return here. She knew that he would feel guilty about it. Instead, she would turn the attention away from the fact that she had finally returned into his life.

"Well, where is my warm welcome?" she teased, not surprised that only Tawa'di was here, though she was curious about that boy that he had tagging along with him last time they had met.

Tawa'di grinned at the goddess. She knew that there wouldn't be anything fancy for her, and Tawa'di knew himself that she wouldn't like anything fancy towards her. While she wouldn't hide herself from anything, that didn't mean that she liked the spotlight. She just didn't want to hide anything from anyone.

"Mana, I am pleased to see that you have returned," he said, offering her a small bow. He was a bit nervous, since of their original agreement. He hoped that maybe he could alter their terms, if just for a short while. But now, how was he to bring that up without seeming to beg anymore for the goddess' help?

His green eyes scanned the brushy area around them. It was beautiful and lush as always, and he had always wondered if it was just a bit of magic or chance that these lands were always so healthy. Perhaps a bit of both.

He was avoiding something. Mana knew it just by reading the way he was shifting around. She stared at him down the bridge of her nose, waiting to see how long it would take before he would notice.

It didn't seem to work too well, though, because he didn't do much of anything with that look. Mana sighed, shaking her head lightly. "Tawa'di," she said with a bit of exasperation. "You've known me for quite some time. You have already asked something heavily of me, for you, for your pride. So why can you not ask what is on your mind now? Surely it is not so much of a burden as throwing off my duties for years and bearing your children for you, could it?"

She knew that what she said sounded a bit rough, but she needed to know, before it ate him up from the inside out.

"Well," the old lion flushed, "I was hoping that ah...that we could extend my part of the bargain for the time."

He hoped that he wouldn't irritate her with his request. What she did state was the truth, anyway. And besides...it would be nice for him to at least see his children for a short while before he passed on. Hopefully his body could hold out for a while longer, like it already had for so long.

Hopefully.

He waited patiently for Mana's reply, not letting anything distract him as she mulled over his request.

"Hmmmm." Mana watched him carefully, taking her time to pick over the options that they had. Of course there was no way that she could just take his life. She had never actually planned on him just dying on her out here, so the whole option of this to her was quite silly. So she would just pull it out longer a bit more, just to torture him a little.

"I...suppose," she commented, though the smile in her eyes soon showed across her face. "Granted, I will need some help here, Tawa'di. You're permitted until you are ready." She waved her paw around, but at this point it was evident that she never meant any harm to Tawa'di at all, much to his luck. She just wanted to help out, and even if that meant clipping her wings for a while, well, she could do that. She had survived for so long, what was a few years between them? Not that much, actually.

Tawa'di's own smile soon exposed itself on his face as he realized that perhaps his question wasn't needed. It was something that had eaten at him for quite a while, as he wasn't quite sure what would happen to Adi'sa if he had suddenly passed away. And he also didn't want Adi'sa to perhaps blame the children, or even Mana, about that circumstance. Even if he was there and heard the exchange of words.

"That is well, then, for I was worried about Adi'sa," he admitted, bringing it out to the open. "Though I'm sure that he will be fine with time."

Tawa'di couldn't help but worry about Adi'sa, since it was the first time he had taken another under his wing.

"Aaaah, Adi'sa. I do remember him, such an adorable, and cute boy. I assume he is well, as is the rest of the pride? Please, Tawa'di, fill me in on what I have missed for all these few months I have been gone."

While she really didn't know much of anyone in the Ela'wadiyi pride, she reallys hould learn what was going on, and where, since she was going to live here now. Mana needed to get along with everyone that she met, as well. She didn't want to complicate things for her children, and especially for Tawa'di.

She waited patiently, though she was itching to get out of here and meet whomever she could. Night would soon fall, though, and she would be better off spending her night here with Tawa'di than going out and harassing her new fellow pride members.

"All is well," he stated with eagerness. "Everything is well, we are actually even larger then when you first came here, Mana. I do believe that everyone that had survived the trip has returned, though. And while we are larger, we are still pitiful in numbers to where we should be to protect ourselves...I do worry about the future."

He would admit it all ot her, but it would take time. There was much to go over, talk about, and let the others know about what was to come in the future. Hopefully more life would return here, as well, in a way other than the lost children returning home. Everyone did begin to age at times.

Hmph. He was always worried about the future and stuff that was so past his time. When would he ever think of anyhting else?? Perhaps never, that was just how Tawa'di was. Smart, thoughtful, and planned everything the best he could for everyone. Hopefully there would be someone to pick up where he left off when he passed on...

Shaking the though from her mind, she smiled warmly at Tawa'di. "Stop worrying so much Tawa'di, or you will grey out even more then you have!" She laughed before pulling herself up. She needed rest, even if it seemed like gods never did.

She invited Tawa'di to join her for the night, because she wanted to make sure that he kept warm during these nights when he was alone, with no cave. SHe needed him to be healthy, and she'd do her best now for him.

Tawa'di huffed at bit at her comment about him getting even more grey. He didn't really think that it was possible for him to get anymore grey! He was old looking enough as it was, he was sure that he didn't want to scare off any other little ones that he might come across.

Shaking his head, he accepted Mana's invitation for a night together, though he didn't quite understand why. He was fine enough on his own, what was she going to do? Probably harass him more about their plan, more about the lands, try to get everything he knew out of his mind.

Well, he wished her good luck with that, because after the two day trek to reach here, he was quite tired himself and just wanted to get some sleep. So once they had managed to find a spot to sleep, he let himself stay up for a bit longer to talk with Mana before the small, older lion drifted off to sleep.
