I like Jake to. Its not that i hate Edward its just that he left Bella. It made me so sad and then when Bella finally started to like Jake back he comes and ruins it. Poor Jake!!

I agree with you. I don't despise him..just..I don't like him. Ever since the beginning Edward's character really bugged me. I think I made a post like this before..hold on..lemme find it..

But yeah, if I knew someone like Edward I dont' think I would fall in love with him either.
He's just too perfect. How did he get so perfect anyways? He was born in Chicago and his human life ended when he was 17 from the flu. Jasper was in the freakin military and Edward still manages to beat him in wrestling?
Also, I dont' think I would want to be with someone who's so obsessed and that extremely protective of me. I guess it makes sense for Bella with the whole Victoria thing and whatever but if my boyfriend came to my house every single night and watched me sleep I'd go crazy! Give me some privacy!
And, yeah he's hot and god like but he's probably such a p***k to everyone else. He only talks to the members of his family and messes with the minds of his peers. I want the guy I'm going out with to be social and have lots of friends, go to parties and outing with me and be accepted. I don't want my friends to be intimidated by him...

Haha, yeah I guess I did. If I were in Bella's position I would probably choose Jacob. I'd be a little bit afraid of Edward. Although int eh book itself, I do want Bella do end up with Edward..hm..weird, now that I think about it lol.

Well, don't forget, it was Bella who ran after Edward... she made the choice... plus, in Eclipse (if you haven't read it, then you might not want to read on...) Edward was open to the option of Bella going to Jake. Though, he didn't like the idea, he would have allowed it if that was what she wanted... don't blame Edward for something that Bella chose.
