Chocolatepanacea eJayPierre I'm not sure it's even laziness - I see it as a lack of respect. Exactly! And if you are not committed to the amount of time it takes to write out full, coherent sentences, then why are you even writing in the first place? If the matter is important to you, then you will show others and the subject respect by "gracing" them with proper grammar. I’m sorry it has gotten to the point where you have to “grace” someone with proper grammar, like it is a special occasion.
Ahhhh. I am truly glad to find there are people out there who feel the same way as me. I remember having a huge and unproductive argument with a bunch of text-speakers on another forum some time ago. A TEACHERS' forum. Scary, huh? It's nice to find some like-minded people who still value literacy!
