On Wednesday, I started to feel kind of sick and at 2 a.m. on Thursday, I started to throw up; that was once every 10-20 minutes until 5 a.m. on Friday. I went to the doctor's office at 8 a.m. and I was there for 11 minutes and my doctor sent me in a wheel chair, to the ER. I was there for 5 hours. sad I got blood drawn twice, an IV and an ultrasound done. I was then sent to the hospital in an ambulance because they were almost positive that I had appendisitis(sp?). I was really worried never having been a patient in a hospital before and not wanting to have surgery. Well, my Grandparents picked up my sisters' and came to the hospital. They were there for about a half hour (it was around 8 p.m. or so). Then my nurse came in there and said that they were ready for me. sad They took me to get my surgery and I was freaking out(I couldn't help it). They were telling me about what it would be like and such but I can't really handle hearing about it. It really just added to my freaking out. They gave me something to calm me down, and thank God that it helped. I woke up to my mom and dad(I couldn't open my eyes though; I could only hear my dad telling me that he was happy that I was alright and that he had to go(it was around 11:30 p.m. or so). Being in that recovery room was irritating, I was in a lot of pain because I was tense and the medicine didn't quite kick in yet. They took me to my room and I calmed down. I just got back now. I'm feeling a lot better, though I can't really bend or anything; I have three little cuts in my stomach. I'm not alloud to go to school until the 11th and I'm not alloud to take my dog out for a month because my insides might get ripped. When I do go back to school, I have to put my books in a bag with wheels because I can't carry more than 10 pounds and I carry a lot for my classes. I'm just happy to be home and back on here. wink

Thank you! wink It was pretty scary but thank God that it didn't burst; it was getting ready to. I plan on getting some rest soon, it's been kind of rough. wink

Like Jessikenz said, sounds like a frightening experience, and were glad your okay.

You don't have to worry about posting and what not, just take all the time you need to get better.

I'm so sorry to hear about you're experience and stuff! I'm glad you're doing better. ^_^ Like the others said, just focus on recovering. That's what's important. I hope you get better soon. Speaking of the ER my sister had to go to the ER a week ago because she couldn't breath. She ended up having Bronchitus (sp?) and the flu. we were there for 8 and a half hours. it was really scary.

im glad yor doing good. about 3 montsh ago my bro had to get his appendix out also. except he was driving when he felt a pain. he got to his friends house and said that when he tried to get up he sat back down b/c his side felt like if sumone stabbed him. He then told his friends to take him to the hospital. My bro hates hospitals and never likes goin so for him to say he wanted to go to one was a big deal. it turns out his appendix was bout to burst but luckily it didnt.

lol well its good to hear your better. You now have a good excuse to be lazy. lol
