(( xp sweatdrop It's a bit late for a birthing RP, so I've decided to set up a RP between Vinya'nyota and her 3 cubs. RP order is the order I would've birthed them in. So Vinya'nyota/Sononeka (me) first, then Thelugi (LSX) second and then Vinca (Syri) last. ))
Vinya'nyota was still half asleep when she heard the unmistakable sound of her cubs moving around the den. The white lioness had always hated being woken up early, even when she was a cub herself. There was never anything to look forward to back then, so she would always do her best to just roll over and go back to sleep. Things weren't that simple anymore.
"Kids, could you please keep it down?" She murmered as her eyes struggled to open. Her lavender eyes were eventually revealed, allowing her to look around and see what her cubs were going.
Her eldest son, Sononeka, was sat in the corner of the den on his own. Unfortunatly, this was the norm for him, as he wasn't really the most social of cubs. Blinking, he noticed the movement of his mother, and quickly turned away from her when he saw that she was looking at him. Neka wasn't an attention seeker, he just genuinely didn't want attention.

Vinya'nyota managed a soft chuckle as Thelugi apologised. "Don't worry about it." She said with a grin, before lifting a paw up and pulling Thelugi close to her side for a cuddle. She then returned his affection by licking him right on the forehead.
When Vinca attempted to clamber over her brother, Vinya'nyota laughed and rolled on to her back, carefully keeping hold of her white son in one arm whilst scooping up her blue daughter with the other. With the two resting on her stomach, she smiled and nodded at Vinca. "I'd love to hear it."
As she said that, she leant her head backwards to see what Neka was doing. "Neka, do you want to come over here and hear your sister's song?"
Sononeka looked on as Thelugi and Vinca greeted their mother. He couldn't understand why they were so eager to recieve their mother's attention. It's not like anything came of it. At his mother's question, he shook his head silently, before getting up and walking to the mouth of the den.
As he peered outside, a small frown touched his face as he faced yet another sunny day. He much prefer the night, when the clouds were dark grey and the sky was black. His mother had told him about a thing called a storm, and its ability to make the day turn dark. That's what he was waiting for.

Vinya'nyota rolled her eyes at Sononeka. She always made the effort to include him whenever she was playing with her other cubs, and he almost always never wanted to take part. She didn't hold it against him though, as she knew from experience that it can take a while for one's personality to flourish. "That's alright son, just make sure you stay in the den."
Smiling, she turned back to Thelugi and Vinca. "Whenever you're ready Vinca." She said with a nod. As the little female cub sang, Vinya'nyota purred. At this rate, her daughter will have found her own rhythm before she did. When Vinca was finished, she leaned up to nuzzle her daughter. "That was wonderful!"
Sononeka obeyed his mother and stayed within the den. He didn't much want to go out anyway, so it wasn't a problem. He could watch the sky just fine from the mouth of the den.
When his sister started singing, the grey cub flattened his ears. Unfortunatly, he didn't much appreciate his sister's voice as much as his mother did. Then again, he didn't really appreciate any forms of expression.
"Mother, when will the storm come?" His voice was barely inaudiable, despite the fact that he had waited until his sister had finished singing before he spoke up.

Vinya'nyota grinned proudly, happy to see that at least two of her cubs got on so well together. When Thelugi went to join his older brother, the pale female carefully placed her daughter back on the ground so that she could roll on to her stomach and lift her head up to watch. She had barely heard what Sononeka had said, but was pleased to see that Thelugi was being supportive.
"Your brother is right Neka." She smiled. "Storms come and go as they please, but they never stay away for too long." When Vinca chimed in, Vinya'nyota nuzzled her and then shook her head, attempting to remind her that Sononeka was a tad sensitive.
Sononeka blinked at Thelugi as he approached, only to turn away when he reached him. "You don't know that." He murmered, waiting for his mother's answer. When she confirmed what his brother had said, rather than apologising to Thelugi, he just nodded.
Unfortunatly, despite his seemingly distant frame of mind, he heard what his sister said when she spoke up. "What's so important about your dumb old singing?" The grey cub said with a frown.

Seeing that things were slowly but surely going downhill, Vinya'nyota got to her feet and padded over to the two brothers. As she passed Thelugi, she licked his forehead. "You're such a good boy." She said with a smile. He reminded her somewhat of her older sister Zagaa, who was really the only sister she had cared about. Zagaa had always been the one who was looking out for the rest, even though they rarely appreciated it.
"Sononeka, dear, I wish you would at least try and cheer up." Her tone of voice was soft, as she certainly wasn't angry at him. Vinya'nyota had been just like him when she was young, always miserable and not wanting to socialise. She knew that it wouldn't be easy to change her son's disposition, but she had to try.
When Vinca came marching over, the pale lioness moved between her and her brothers. "Please Vinca, just leave him be." Again, her tone of voice was understanding. When the blue cub buried her head in her chest, she smiled and petted the back of her neck with her paw.
Sononeka fell silent after insulting his sister. It's not like he wanted to argue, not really. He just felt as if no one understood him, and so there was no reason for him to make the effort to understand them.
"Whatever." He murmered, seemingly ignoring his family. "One of these days I'll just leave and never come back. Then you'll be sorry." Saying that, Sononeka turned and headed back into the den, without even glancing at his mother or his siblings.
