So I just updated my computer, more ram a new Nvidia graphics card : the works basically. It's been running great the past few weeks but yesterday I decided to make some new sims but when I chose to make a new sim the screen froze up. I can move the mouse around but nothing happened. I tried this 4 times and was forced to re-start my computer each time, I am thinking it has to do with my Nvidia card because I've heard people have had problems with theirs. Then today, it crashed when I tried to enter a family who's house had suddenly disappeared. gonk
I have all the EPs and Holiday, Family fun, and H&M SP's just for the record.
My game has never crashed before, not even before I upgraded it and I don't have massive amounts of CC.
So...anyone have a similar experience or know what's going on?

To rule out any problems with custom content you can move your downloads folder to the desktop and run the game to see if it solves the problem. If it does then a download is the problem. The only other option may be to reinstall your games. If you have room I would also make a game backup before reinstalling.
If none of this works then I guess it is your graphics card.

I just haven't downloaded anything in a long time so I'm pretty sure it's not CC. Oh well. Bummer.
