Having had a nap cuddled up close to the peachy coloured male, the silvery female lead Zarin up the beach towards the family dens.

Her tail flagged up over her back like a sign. She was so happy. She was taking Zarin to meet her father. Siya didn't really know the meaning of the phrase nervous, but butterflies flutterd in her belly at the thought of the male she had strange feelings for meeting her daddy.

Of course she had failed to mention to the large male whom followed her to her families den that her father was Tamba, the king of the pride. Such things just didn't seem important. Padding up to the dark dens the slender female gave a giggle before calling "Daddy!" she puurred peering in through the dens mouth "Daddy?"

After the little nap that Zarin and Siya had shared, the peach male felt energized from their play earlier that day. Turquoise eyes were gazed forward, holding the silvery female in his sights. He couldn't help but to playfully bat at her tail every now and then as they headed towards her family's den. He was nervous, his stomach was doing flip-flops. He was nervous about meeting Siya's father because it made this all more permanent to him.

Ears perked forward as he heard Siya call out to her father. A small smile appeared on his features as he stood next to Siya.

This was a rare moment when Tambuzi had just been lounging in his den. With the addition to the guards, he felt less worried about the pridal borders and took this chance to just quiet himself, calm his nerves and think. He wasn't particularly old, but he was feeling his age. Something about rearing a litter and guiding a young pride kind of did that to you.

A familiar greeting cut through his sleepy musings. Only one of his children still called him 'daddy.' It had to be Siya. He struggled to his feet, rolled on the den floor in a comical fashion at first, and then stretching as he approached his daughter...and who was this?

He never greeted his children verbally - it was always with a loving nuzzle.

Siyasura gave a happy little giggle as her father emerged and she ran her cheek down his face as he greeted her her perfect, slatey blue eyes glimmering in a waterlike manner. "Hey daddy." she puurrs nipping at his cheek before she turnes to look at zarin "This is Zarin daddy! He wants to stay."

She beams her perfect blue eyes shimmering softly, blunt as always and lacking in any sort of tact her next words perhaps were not best picked "He's my friend I wants to stay with him." she beams her ears twitching forwards and even a slight blush raising on ehr cheeks along with her signature giggle.

Turquoise eyes watched the exchange between father and daughter. Zarin felt longing stir within him, his own family far from where he was. But, it took little sacrifices in order to go forward in life and achieve whatever you desire. With a slight dip of his head in Tamba's direction, and while Siya had introduced him already he felt it was only proper that he do the same. "As Siya's already stated, my name is Zarin."

His ears pricked forward as Siya's request made his cheek flush. His voice was caught in his throat for a moment before he gave the male a smile. "I've heard many great things about you from Siya and it's a pleasure to finally meet you."

Needless to say, Siya's blunt approach would always catch him off-guard, and Tamba sort of made a slight grimace at her verbal assault on his frayed nerves. He looked at Zarin for a while, visually trying to weigh him up. He had to admit - it was nice to see a non-red lion. It would seem the coolness of these shores oft attracted ex-Firekin, and as benign as they were, it was almost reassuring that Zarin looked of gentler descent.

He broke from Siya a moment and approached the nervous male.

"Sooo, you'd like to stay? What can you offer the pride?" he asked in very serious tone.

Siyasura giggled quietly laying down in the soft pale sand to relax her long feathered tail wrapping around her body while she watched her father and Zarin talk. She couldn't quite remember if she'd told Zarin that her father was the king of the pride or not.

She smiled calmly at Zarin her watery blue eyes fixed on the peachy coloured male, quietly hopeing her gaze would calm rather than unnerve him though the thought of unnerving never came to her mind.

Out of the corner of his eye, Zarin watched Siya get comfortable. He could feel her gaze on him, and while it kind of put him in the spotlight in front of her father, he wasn't as nervous as he thought he would have been. His stomach wasn't doing as many flips now as it had been earlier. He was definitely feeling more relaxed with Tamba, and Siya did help. Though, something was telling him that this was no ordinary meeting. Did Siya forget to tell him something?

At the male's question, he thought about it for a moment. What could he have to offer the pride? Well, since he wasn't that large and imposing looking, he didn't think he'd do well as a guard or scout of any sort. Then his turquoise eyes shifted for a brief moment to the water before he returned his gaze back to Tamba. "While I might not be the largest of lions or the strongest of lions, I do hunt rather well," He paused for a moment, he didn't know how large the pride was, it wasn't something he had asked Siya. "I would be more than willing to help provide for the pride in any way that I can."

Tamba could see his daughter settling down from the corner of his eye and continued his rather focused gaze on Zarin. It was maybe cruel to put him through so much scrutiny, but this is what a father did. His duties as king only played a tiny part in this interrogation and it was more to find out about Zarin as a lion and a provider. He still wasn't sure how he felt about Siya securing herself a life with a male. But he supposed he'd feel that way about all of his offspring.

"Well, hunting is the least you could do for the pride, but is greatly appreciated. How far have you travelled?" he asked, continuing his serious tone.

Siyasura giggled, listening to her father being 'serious', she just couldn't help it. She was so used to his loving embrace and playful words, his gentle chid if she was bad. Listening to him do his sereous kingy work. Made her beam, her perfect blue eyes dancing happily.

She turned her gaze upon the peachy coloured Zarin waiting for his reply, her tail swishing in the sand. She was enjoying this, her two favourite males in the same place having serious talks. Something she found very difficult to do herself.

At the question, Zarin pondered for a moment. He tried to think as far back as he could, to remember all the names of places that his family had travelled to or visited. "I was born in the Umande'mfuni land along with my brothers and sisters. I had never found out the reason why my family had left their home, but we did and travelled to various places many of which I don't know the names to. I do remember visiting this large crater at one point," His memory back then was still a bit hazy as he didn't give his mainly nomadic life much thought. "It wasn't until recent that my family had decided they wanted to join this pride in the desert, but while I was traveling with them I had spotted the ocean. The desert was something that I just couldn't get used to, it wasn't for me..." He trailed off with a slight blush upon his cheeks. He felt like he was rambling on about meaningless things. His eyes flicked towards Siya and looked at her while she had watched him. She looked a lot like her father.

Tambuzi listened intently. As tedious as duties could be, it was always interesting to listen to a lion's history. It made him think of his past and if he missed it. What he'd given up to rule a pride. Even the name of Zarin's birthplace escaped Tambuzi's knowledge from when he travelled as a youth.

"Very well. You can take up residence in one of the dens near the jungle if you please, or wherever you feel comfortable. You'll find most of us are quite friendly roun' here, I'd like to see your face and see you pitching in. We have preparations to make soon and we'll need everyone's help," he said after one long, deep breath.

Tambuzi was a lion who aged well, and even his voice had deepened to carry a sense of strength that was a mismatch to his physical size.

"Yay!" Siyasura leaped to her paws when her father said that Zarin could stay her tail flickering in the air as she bounced to her father and licked his cheek affectionately. "Thankyou Daddy!" She puurrs her watery blue eyes dancing happily. She was so glad Zarin could stay. He was her favouritest person in the world.

She smiled at Zarin her ears flickering a little. She was just so happy at this turn of events, notw she could go and see him when ever she wanted or even take a nap in which ever den he chose. All in all today was a productive day.

As his turquoise eyes watched Tamba curiously, they shifted towards Siya as Zarin couldn't help but to smile softly. Though, he gave her father his full attention again as he heard the older male's words. They brought forth a newfound hope within the male. With a nod, "Thank you very much," He paused to give Tamba a reassuring smile, "I will help out wherever I am needed. I would very much like to get to know everyone."

He then shifted his gaze back towards Siya, watching her with her father. He couldn't help but feel a small longing for his own family. Features soften as he couldn't help but to chuckle softly, only Siya could pull off being this cubbish.

Tambuzi's stern gaze was most un-graciously interrupted by his daughter's show of thanks, and his grim expression had to melt to a smile. Of all his children, he worried the most over Siya, but she seemed content in her way of life and thats all that mattered to him. He'd never want to see her leave though. He could ALMOST bear the thought of any of his children leaving to explore and whatnot...but not Siya.

"You're welcome Zarin," he finally said as his daughter retreated. He bowed his curly-maned head.
