Which is more correct?
Example: It is really hot.
Or
It is very hot.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think both are right; don't quote me on this one, though.

Sorry if I'm bumping this since I'm replying so late! And if you're asking this for a homework assignment, sorry I'm so late in replying at all.

Both are correct, like Dameon says. It just depends on the situation you're in to which one you use.

"How hot is it?"

"Very hot."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, it's just really hot."

The "very" is a measure. The "really" is an emphasis.
