Days. It had been days, maybe even weeks since he had last spoken to his mother. The image of her was still imprinted so clearly upon his mind but along side her smiling face, there was the map. The landscape he had followed dilligently. Every rock formation, every tree along his path had been marked out in his dreams. It was strange. Places he didn't even know seemed so familiar when he found them. Places to rest came easily for the places he passed through provided shelter for him, he knew exactly where the best hiding places where, knew when others had taken the shelter before he got there and in this way he had kept himself out of trouble and alone through out his journey. He liked it that way, he had needed to take the journey alone and getting anyone else in trouble or facing up against others was not what he wanted. He had travelled without any intrusions on his privacy then but now, now he was here at his journeys end.

He looked at the strange trees slightly awe struck. This place seemed familiar to, though he had never been here before he felt drawn to the place like it was made of magic or simply of his dreams imagination. Of course in his dream this little grove had shimmered with stars. It had shone as if some ethreal light was cacooned in the center. Looking upon it he smiled, it shone now, but it shone simply with the light of day. It was a beautiful place, mysterious, he knew he belonged here.

Taking a deep breath he stepped beneath the leafy canopy and waited. Someone would come. In his dream a large figure had appeared through the light and spoke his name. He doubted anyone would speak his name but someone would come for him. His dream had never lied to him, it wasn't about to start now.

Tawa'di's ears flicked. Someone had entered the Stargrove. And while there was never anything written against the members entering, it felt different. Something that wasn't native to these lands.

He had been visiting Mana as she rested. She was pleased with what the future would hold, but saddened at the same time, for it numbered the days of the old nvwati. He knew it, she knew it, and Adi'sa knew it. And he hoped to keep it that way.

He let his paws guide him to where this intruder might be. Granted, it took more than one time to find where it was, but he managed to get there without too much of an incident. His main concern was making sure that Mana was safe.

His green eyes finally caught sight of the intruder. Make that a little intruder. And while the Ela'wadiyi were naturally the smaller of the lions around, Tawa'di was still larger than the lion that was before him.

"Why do you come into the Stargrove uninvited, little visitor?" he questioned with a smile on his face. While he wasn't thrilled with the boy, he was far from angry, and merely concerned for him.

Abionas watery green eyes turned on the larger, much older lion. He smiled. No his name wouldn't be said but this was certainly whom he was supposed to see. He lowered his gaze as the old male said he was intruding. "I'm sorry sir." He whispers, his voice quiet and rather mysterious, a very airy sort of muurr which rolled off his lips like a breath of the wind.

Licking his dark lips the young male lifted his glassy green eyes to catch the old males gaze. "I was called here by a dream sir." He had never come out and said anything like this to anyone before. He never spoke of his dreams, never said anything of the places they lead him. Yet here he stood, before someone he didn't know speaking of his dreams.

"I have lived my life on the borders of the pridelands sir, always following my dreams, always going where they have told me. I dreamt of every part of the landscape that lead me here sir, watched as it rushed through my mind until the dream became a map in my mind. I have been called here by name sir, and that name is Abiona."

He paused lowering his gaze once again "I have never been lead so far from that which I know sir, and my dreams have never lied to me before so I have followed them and they have lead me here to you." He licked his lips and his ears twitched slightly, nervously. "I did not mean to tresspass though and I will leave if you wish me to." His whole body tenced as he said this. He couldn't leave, his dreams would continue if he left this place, they would pull him back here. There was a reason for him being here, he just didnt know entirely what it was.

Green eyes looked over the young lion slowly. Interesting, this whole story of his. Dreams? It was something to consider, but he did not give them too much thought. Sure, Tawa'di was a seer, but there was no way to outwardly guess if these were dreams or anything else.

"It's just interesting that you made it this far in our lands without being noticed," he commented, a bit amused. A juvenile, passing through their borders! It made it painfully obvious that though their numbers were growing, they were still short of actually protecting their lands.

"Dreams. So you rushed over here, leaving your family, because you had dreams? Did these dreams show you anything else?" he questioned, curious. His eyes looked out towards the opening of the Stargrove.

"Perhaps we should stand in the sun, where I will be a bit more relaxed to speak with you. Do not worry, no harm would come to you if you are near me," he said, ushering the boy to following him out. He needed to warm his old muscles, or else he was sure he might start drifting into a sleep-like state. Ooh, what old age did to you!

It was hard not to fidgett, after all he was young and though he was fairly confident of his ability to 'see' where he was going, he wasn't much good at predictiong how others felt, or how they would react. The elder lion seemed friendly though and he nodded to the suggestion of moving in to the sun.

The young khaki and brown lion shuffled backwards his head bowed "It's amazing sir what dreams tell you." He pauses for a moment his deep glassy green eyes fixed upon the old male. "I have travelled a long way and my dreams, my dreams showed me the way, told me where there may be trouble or interference. A physical map sir, plus." He pauses and smiles a little cheekily "I'm not the largest of lions sir and I do blend pretty well with the ground." His ears flattened tightly against his head at that, he had perhaps hidden from a lion or two on hisway here, he hadn't wanted to be spotted or detained for any amount of time.

"My dreams, they have always lead me to places where I would need something from them, but here, here I feel perhaps I am needed?" He tilted his head his brow creasing. He found it a little strange that the elder hadn't thought he was just foolish and cast him off. Dreams after all wern't really things you relied on, they were figments of your imagination. Not his though, never his, they always told him the truth.

Tawa'di took a long moment to make himself comfortable while the cub was talking. He would nod now and again to let the cub know he was still talking, though. He groaned a bit as he stiffly settled himself down on the rough ground, feeling the heat from that ground seep up into his feet, and the sun's rays from up above warming his back. Aaah, it felt so good. Now.

"So these dreams never lie to you, hm?" he said with a bit of amusement. Strange. He had his own, but while they were mostly right, he still had his share that were not correct, or they did not come to pass. How many times had he waited along the border, only for no one to shop up? Plenty of times. He was getting too old to do that now. Irony, really.

"And a need? Well, if what you say is what you really believe in, then perhaps. If you cannot find a need now, you will surely find one as you grow," he said, creaking his neck a bit so it wouldn't feel so tense.

Abiona waited quietly while the elder settled, his watery green eyes fixed upon the larger male. It was only in the sunlight that he truely realised how old the male was. The grey of his mane and the wizened look in his eyes. This one, he realised had seen far more than he could likely ever imagine. Licking his lips the khaki furred youth sat slowly, but tensely. Perhaps that was why the elder beleived him? He had seen it all.

"No, they have always lead me to meet someone, or to find soemthing new." He smiled and let a little laugh roll off his lips. "It may sound a little silly but I probably know the pridelands better than my own parents. My dreams would lead me to places, to people and they in turn would lead me to things I didn't know of, couldn't know of infact!" he shook his head smiling weakly. "I suppose exploration would have made me find things eventually but my dreams, they've always pointed me in the right direction."

Rolling his shoulders slightly the watery eyed youngster swallowed hard. "Yes sir, that is of course, if I can stay?" There was a slight pleading in his voice, he knew his dreams would start to tourment him if he turned back towards the pridelands, back towards his family. His dreams told him he needed to be here. "I'm sure I can be of use to you sir. I'm positive."

Tawa'di let the youngster talk in his quick, excited fashion as he let more of the warmth sink into his body. The sun would always be a blessing to him, something that he had taken advantage of when he was young. Never again, not with what was left of his life.

"Oh? Interesting," he replied to the youngests topic of dreams. While he seemed to dream often, it was troublesome that it was never wrong. There must of been something else that touched the child. Unknown, though, for most gods did not like seers. Some were an exception of course, including Mana, but still. It would be something he might ask the cub later, maybe when he was more settled.

"Well, you may stay, as you have no where else to go. I can lead you to where we stay, and you can stick with a few of the adults until you are old enough to fend for yourself." His tail flopped behind him, but he didn't make any motion to leave quite yet. No, give him another moment still, and then he could go.

The young male beamed, his watery green eyes fixing upon the older male. he bowed his khaki and brown head ans smiled. if nothing else he knew when to be thankful and although his paws were wrestless to see his new 'home' he could wait, he could see the elder with true, unclouded eyes now. His previous moments excitement washing away as he realised just how old this male was.

He smiled softly, his ears flattening tightly against his head as he settled his body calmly to wait for the elder. "Thankyou for your kindness elder." He whispers his voice calm, mystrious, airy now that he had said his peace.

"I'll do my best to help you all sir." He puurrs settling quietly to await Tawadi's lead to the dens. This would be his home from now on.

Tawa'di smiled at the cub, humored slightly. "No need to thank me, little one. Just repay the lands and the members for your acceptance, treat them well and always with a positive mind. That's all we ask for here."

He groaned a bit as he pulled himself back up,r eady to take the short trek home. It wouldn't take too long, but with the pace that the old lion normally walked, he hoped it wouldn't drive Abiona nuts with anticipation.

"Alright now, let's get going." He took the lead, settling into a comfortable pace with his paws puffing up little bits of dust on the ground. He'd have to talk to Adi'sa later about it, but for now, everything would be alright. Mana would be humored at him picking up yet another cub, he just knew it.

Abiona gave a cheerful nod and got to his paws. "I will! I promise." He grinned, he almost wanted to say he would make the elder proud. He felt close to the old male already, he was like a really old father figure.

He sighed happily, padding along at Tawadi's pace without any trouble. His journey was over, tonight he would sleep soundly knowing he was home, truely home at last.
