How do YOU pronounce Carlisle and Esme?

Edit: I'm 100% sure it's "Car-lyle" now. That's how Stephenie Meyer says it. xd

The S in Carlisle is silent(i'm 90% positive about these pronunciations!)
so it's CAR-LIE-UL
and Esme is ES-MAY
or
ES-ME
like its spelled.
Carlisle...that pronunciation is popular for when he would've been bored and the area he would've been brought up in. Thats why I'm thinking that. I could be as wrong as the next person though.

I know how its pronounced but I like my pronunciation better. I pronounce it Car-sa-lie. I used to not know how to say it so thats what I said instead. I still like it better. ninja

As for Esme, I say it as Ez-mei.
