You reminded me that there was an author I wanted to make a thread about. If only I could remember who it was....
Your question's hard~ I'm gonna have to think about it for a while.

You have no idea how long it took me to come up with five people. I made sure I had mine before I posted the thread. I didn't want to start a thread I couldn't answer myself. 4laugh

My favourite book characters are almost invariably the gentle and wise, hence all of my choices would be those that could show me compassion if I needed it as well as teach me something morally and logically beneficial.
Adam Sinclair - The Adept by Kutrz and Harris Arkarian - Guardians of Time by Curley Brom - Eragon by Paolini Winntrow - Liveship Traders by Hobb Remus Lupin - Harry Potter by Rowling
I presume no one knows who Adam is considering the brilliant and unappreaciated series he is from. cry I also presume that everyone knows who Remus is and would wonder why - if I had to select a Harry Potter character - I didn't choose Dumbledore given my critera. Well, I love Dumbledore, but I respect Remus more as a person for coping with his lycanthropy without being bitter...And I'd really like to slam him against a wall and have my way with him, a desire which I don't have with Dumbledore. mrgreen
Kahahana, I considered Artemis, as he is one of my favourite fictional people to ever exist. heart However (like Snape, whom I also considered) he probably would not want to have discourse with someone he barely knew, thus not being forthcoming with relevant information and would be a waste of an option.
This was a very interesting thread topic!!! I'm surprised with how easy it was for me decide. Of course, I've thought about this before, so... smile
