We should treat them kindly, fairly and humanely.

regardless of all the nice things i hear you say...there are still Islamic countries that appear to still be very hostile to these groups (today, not centuries ago) Any reason for this?

I think I should have an example to illustrate that it's not solely religion of why things like what you said happen.

Example, Palestinians hate Israelis, particularly Jews, because of some dispute on some historic and religious places. I heard that Palestine wants to recover a mosque in Israel.

My teacher told me it has already become cultural and not based on religion.

Really, from the Christian perspective, persecution due to religion it seems inevitable

That's actually according to my teacher in Sociology who happens to be a sociologist.

She said that the disagreements between Palestine and Israel used to be caused by religion. But now it has become cultural.

Accdg to her most Palestinians hate Israelis because that's how their fathers and those people that came before them treat Israelis and vice versa. It now becomes less of a religious issue accdg to her. biggrin

Forced conversion has always been wrong in the eye of Islam as what is being taught to us.

Clearly, those 'people' in Egypt should be heavily punished for not respecting others' religion. They deserve more than the abuses Mary suffered.

They're just so mean. I hate to see people who say that their beliefs are superior than that of the others. They're nothing but fools.
