It's kind of weird to me how they split the seasons, but according to Wikipedia it is indeed only four.
& the film they're working on is Blood: The Last Vampire live action, not Blood+.

I don't think the series really needs another season.

There's more?! eek But the end of episode fifty was so final! I mean, Diva died! Are there any websites to confirm this besides wikipedia? One time there was some bogus thing about Diva's twins on there... but if there really are more seasons then I guess it wouldn't be so bogus after all. But it's not uncommon for series to be short in Japan and they don't have "seasons." ( <-- I read that in Shonen Jump about when Naruto was about to air in Japan.) Shows run with new episodes indefinitely over there. If they were to take a break because the season was over, there really wouldn't be the need to create "filler" episodes when they catch up to the manga. neutral Don't get your hopes up, guys; I hate to say that, but Wikipedia isn't always totally accurate. It's common for there to be a change of opening or ending themes every 10 to 15 episodes with anime that run longer than 22 or 26 episodes. Sorry, I misunderstood the first post as that there were more than 50 episodes in Japan and that they were making four more seasons or something like that.

There are no more episodes of Blood+. There are only the 50 that aired on Adult Swim. the "seasons" are every 10 to 13 episodes that had a change of Opening and Ending sequences. Sorry. If you read all the posts above you'll understand what I mean.
