She was angry, angry and frightened, the two powerful emotions blazing behind her eyes and lining the snarl as she flew. Flying had never been her speciality. Being 'confused' she often found herself getting in such a muddle that flight became erratic and uncontrollable.
She was certainly not the most graceful of fliers.
But it got her from A to B and graceful or not, Rokopelli had never cared. She could travel quickly and high enough that no one could see her anyway, so what did it matter?
She alighted her path, swept up to a ledge and crashed unceremoniously into it, only just managing to catch herself on the ledge and pull herself up. With a growl she shook her head and stood, turning her head suspiciously from side to side.
And then a blank look came over her face.
"Right, what were we doing?"

 ((Note: Rio speaks with a Mexican accent. Sounds weird, I know, but it's just part of his character.))
He'd been relaxing in the brisk chill of the gods haven, stretching out his forepaws and back when the young goddess crashed against the ledge. Jolting in surprise the god whipped his head around to stare, then hurried over to make sure she got in alright.
"Oi, hey, are you okay??" Came his incredulous question as he stared wide eyed at the colorful diety.

She span around at the unfamiliar voice, almost falling off the ledge as her back paws lost their footing. She just managed to keep herself upright, but only just. And then she was shaking, but whether it was fear or rage, she couldn't be sure.
A God!!
Another blasted God. Or was it the one from before? The one who attacked her? Hurt her poor little Roko. Yes, okay, so the fear drove Roko to the back of the line, but Pelli still very much cared for...her other half.
She growled and attempted to throw herself at him, though she tripped and landed flat on her stomach. "You hurted us! Why did you hurt us?"
She didn't seem to remember what Katana'k looked like. All she remembered was wings, wings and claws. Which wasn't useful considering a good portion of Gods had both.
~No!~ A little voice in the back of her mind squeaked.
But Pelli wasn't listening and she was pulling herself back to her feet again, launching herself towards where Rio was.

He watched in a sort of twisted fascination at the goddess' behavior before him, and felt a worried frown crease his features at her question.
"I'm sorry, chika, but, I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about... You're--"
But before he could finish his own question she was lunging at him. Rio cried out in surprise and reared up and back, taking the brunt of the attack, but staggering back out of the way with a helpful, powerful backbeat of his wings. He just managed to avoid getting tackled.
"Whoah, whoah! Easy! I've never even met you before!" He protested.

She landed heavily, forepaws scrabbling as her back legs dangled precariously off of the ledge she had thrown herself at. Then, after a frantic moment she hooked her claws and heaved herself up. By that time she was exhausted and she sprawled across the ground, looking up at him.
Fear and anger.
They blazed in her eyes so fiercely that she was overcome completely by the emotions. They had her chest heaving with pain and her eyes brimming with tears.
"B-but..." She blinked. "Where is he? Where is that God?" She groaned, her muscles tightening as if she were in pain. "Oh, mother...mother..." She gnashed her teeth and raised her eyes again. "Where are you? Where?"
And then she looked up at Rio, confusion lighting those vivid orbs. "Who're you?"
