I was watching Larry King Live just now, and he said "OMG!" He was interviewing Ryan Seacrest, Ryan said it, and Larry just repeated it. How could such a legend as Larry King use such language as "OMG" on live television! burning_eyes

It's the sign of the times, pal. The masses, and even the high elite are in this too.
We're the only literary vanguard left in this online community, thank you very much. That is, if you would call it that. confused

I honestly feel text-talk is spreading rapidly, almost as if it's a virus. v.v Celebrity endorsement doesn't help either, but sadly, it isn't really "cool" or whatever people are saying these days, to NOT use text talk.

Hmm... I don't know if they edited the transcript, but this is from CNN.com, so I think it's pretty legit...

According to that, Larry never uttered "OMG"... though Ryan did whilst explaining common TXT abbreviations as he talked about his Blackberry.

And now, I will be an idiot and ask:
Who is Larry King?
I'm sorry, I don't really like American celebs...

Nina Orusa And now, I will be an idiot and ask:
Who is Larry King?
I'm sorry, I don't really like American celebs... Well, the less you know, the better. Celebrities in North America these days are overindulgent, treated so much like royalty, and extremely shallow to boot. ::coughsparishiltonandbritneycoughs:: My Rant Not to mention that some even use their supposed "star power" to reduce their sentence to a mere matter of days! These days, they're just spoiled brats who want their next paycheck so they can take their next trip to some tropical island or buy their freakin' yacht or some crap like that...
Adding insult to injury is that those two shallow figures make the working man look like a damn fool...a DAMN fool, I say! evil
And to close this one with the "Game Over" theme from Sega Rally 2...Rant's over, yeah! No more is needed to be said.
