Breeding Application and rules
- Please PM the breeding application to the mule: Motoujamii Lands.
- Rogue breeding is forbidden ICly AND OOCly - there has been some confusion over this. It is not allowed. Both lions must be in Firekin (Simo) to breed.
- New members must wait a month before breeding.
- For firekin flings: BOTH parents must take responsibility of their offspring until Adolescence. Parents who do not participate in raising their cubs may be demoted from their rank or kicked out.
[[ This is because whenever a litter is born into the firekin, the mother must announce who the father is. Firekin take family seriously, even if it's not in the 'traditional' sense. The focus in the pride is not for the couple to be loving, but for the couple to be active in their children's lives. To neglect a child is a serious offense, as it could result in poor warriors.
This rule also applies to same sex couples who surrogate a litter. The father [or mother] must still be involved in the cub's life. A child can grow up with two fathers and a mother, but they cannot simply have two fathers.
If the identify of the father is intended to be a secret for some sort of plot related drama, someone in the pride must at least pretend and act like the father. [IE: Bob and Sarah have an affair. Arron claims to be the father to cover it up.] ]]
- Newly joined rogues and quarantined Firekin are forbidden to breed until being fully accepted into the pride.
NEW RULE- All cub images and info MUST be posted in this thread by one of the owners of the parent firekin, using the appropriate form. You have until the litter reaches the juvenile stage to do this. Those who do not post the images and information of their litter will not be permitted to apply for another breeding.
NEW RULE- Mated pairs that wish to apply for a breeding only need to apply once, from now on. They will be added permanently to the list in this thread, and have the okay-go to breed as they please without having to inform us once they are added. (They will, however, be removed from the list if they fail to post the cub images and info in this thread by the time the cubs reach juve). THIS IS ONLY FOR MATED PAIRS.

Hurias
Red, black and white are the dominant and accepted colours within the Firekin pride. During breedings however, throwbacks may result in odd colored children. Our guidelines are as follows:
- Hot colours (yellows/oranges) which cover no more than 40% of the lion. Yellows and oranges must be hot, not brown or subdued.
- Cooler colours (greens/blues etc...) which cover no more than 5% of the lion. Preferably paired with red for joining rogues.

If you are questioning whether or not a cub in your litter is a huria, contact us. If you simply make an assumption based on your own judgement of the rules, we will not correct you. It needs to be brought to our attention so we can vote.
