Can you (or anyone else) solve this simple exponential problem?
1.2e^(-5x)+2.6x=3.

It's the e that ******** me up. If I have a model equation, I can easily do the rest.

I haven't done this kind of algebra in a while... it's a bit like seeing Clefairy in an OU battle. You have to remember how to beat it.

Also, I got distracted and drafted into labor, which is why it's not done right now.

I disagree. If altering the world's coding can protect you from bullets, I daresay that fists will not be a problem.

Well, can you tell how you did it so I'll remember the next time some person on the internet wants me to help them solve algebra problems? cool

1.2e^(-5x)+2.6=3
subtract 2.6
1.2e^(-5x)=.4
Divide by 1.2
e^(-5x)=1/3
=
ln1/3=-5x
ln1/3=(1.10)(-5)
ln1/3=.220



Much easier than I thought. Sorry for wasting your time sad

That makes more sense. You originally wrote it with 2.6x, which makes the problem sadistic, if not impossible.
