I have never ever liked Sailor Mars.

As I said in the "Cutest Boy" thread,
I have no tolerance for bullies,
and when I was little watching this show
I used to actually get really upset whenever she picked on Serena.

Besides that, she's really vain, and flaunts it.

She has all the qualities of the girls I never got along with in my schoolgoing days.

I don't really see it as fighting. It is very similar to how me and my youngest sister interact. She calls me a klutz and the like all the time, but if I asked her to stop she would. It's just how we show we care, it drives my mother mental.

Read the manga. Rei got a personality overhaul in the show. They 180'd her. It the manga she was pretty much asexual and only got mad at Usagi when she wasn't fulfilling her responsibilities. She also wanted to inherit the shrine and up keep it instead of wanting to be some rich successful woman. Suffice to say, they did a number on her in the anime.

Usually I would be on Rei's side because Usagi was really a lazy ditz and a crybaby do nothing in the beginning of the series. I really wasn't much of a fan of her until she accepted her role and stopped complaining about it. "So you're a reborn sailor senshi, stop complaining about it because that's like bitching about being a girl. It's not something you can control. Accept it and move on." That was always my frame of thought for her until she actually did.

I get why they fight, but I think Mars is too harsh with Moon!

I still maintain that they are not actually fighting. It's just how they show their affection.

I guess it's just a habit that I can't get out of.

I totally agree. Even though they fight a lot, they always forget about it later.
